From a 5+ to 0 if possible! Beware of these almost-scammers retailers! They work by commission per line sold, and would do ANYTHING to get you a new line. Dont be fooled by their welcoming attitude and great customer service. The “manager” attended me a few weeks ago. I wanted to change my account 2 personal lines for a business account. She attended me very polite and professionally, explaining it was very difficult to proceed with the change and keeping the phone numbers. We tried to ask if there was no way and she insisted on how difficult it would be. After some fancy explanations she convinced us new lines was the way to go. She also “tried” to get us a trade in deal but “her system would not alluw it for some reason” and after a couple tries she told us tu get the lines and that after the first month it is “usually easier”. We foolishly accepted and went for it. Later on I went to ask if they had other devices I could bought paying the full price and learned they were not an At&t official store. I decided to go to the official store in town and they were astonished how these guys made me change my numbers and open new lines. They explained that it was most likely a way of receiving commission. After checking my account, they found that the Animas mall At&t retailer store manager had opened a third line on my account, of which I wasn’t aware, and had approved an iPhone 14, of which I was not aware too. They were able to help me take away the extra line, but I’m still paying the price for changing my numbers with Some accounts...
Read moreOriginally gave 5 stars but after fighting for four months, multiple visits multiple calls trying to get bill fixed still getting the run around and they have me locked into a new phone which I didnt need and now on the hook for 1k so can't even switch back to tmobile because of this debt so stuck paying almost twice a month for what I was at tmobile until debt is paid off. Just saw att advertisement knocking tmobile for deceitful practices but it is obviously the other way around. Don't fall for their 25 month advertising they will lure you in with false advertising and then bounce you around claiming not their issue but back end and when you get a hold of the back end at att they say they can't fix but they can get you more "free" phones and better plans instead. No thanks I know remember why I left att 10 years ago. Zero Stars ATT...
Read moreLong story short, 15 minutes with Artie the manager of the mall store caused me to leave AT&T after many years of business with them.If I could give him 0 stars I would. How he still has a job or ever got to be the manager is beyond my understanding. I was having issues with my phone, we were the only customers in the store and Artie was just sitting there playing on his phone when we walked in and he couldn't be bothered to put his phone away when we first walked in or even look at my phone through the entire time we were in there. He made no effort at all to resolve my problem and when my wife went back in to ask him a question he made no effort to help her and ended up yelling at her and telling her to leave the store. Absolutely horrible, I've met teenage fast food workers with better customer...
