Kitchen Creations — Local services in Farmington

With physical retail locations competing with internet businesses for sales these days you would think said physical stores would do something to welcome customers but Kitchen Creations did the opposite while I was there. I walked in at 10:15 on a Thursday and was not acknowledged . Two clerks were working, one behind the counter and one putting out stock and carrying out a conversation across the store (apparently just received red royal icing in a delivery and that they had each put some aside for themselves). I was clearly debating between products but no helpful opinions were offered, instead the older lady just kept walking in front of me to put out product. After making a decision I went to check out only to notice a sign - No charges under $10 - so I asked the younger clerk to confirm it which she did with a snotty attitude (who has limits these days, you should be grateful for sales?!) so I put my stuff back and left. I'm not spending a required amount of my money in a store that clearly doesn't value customers. You've gone way downhill, Kitchen Creations. I'm using online businesses...

Awesome place!! The ladies here were so so helpful. Kathy and Sue, thank you for all your advice and help! My first time decorating a cake and they taught me a lot while I was in here. They were so nice when I called asking about a certain cake mold, that I came in even though they didn't carry what I was looking for. I ended up finding something even better, and they talked me through all the steps and gave me so much advice!

I’ve been coming here for over 20 years, and the new owners have made fabulous updates! The store is bright and welcoming, and organized. I love how they display treats you can make and then help you find exactly what you need to make them. Every time I visit I find something else I should try. It’s not just for serious bakers - it’s for anyone who likes to create- from candy treats, to cookies to cupcakes all the way to wedding cakes! Great customer service that you will not find at the big craft stores- I highly recommend...
