Dec. 2023: I want to add that of all the coffee shops in Farmington, Ground Control makes the best latte. It's a combination of the espresso taste and the skill of steaming the milk. Update: I went there again today. The latte is really good with more coffee/milk ratio than at other places (or he coffee is just much better). There were people sitting at the tables and the barista brought the coffee to thewe can have real cups table - which is a very nice touch. I also like it that they have real cups and plates for in-house consumption. 6 stars! It was very busy on a Saturday morning and many people were waiting for their coffee in front of the tables. We’ve been semi-regularly stopping in to Ground Control for our morning brew (delicious coffee, beautiful location and view of downtown, kind and hardworking staff!) but wanted to specifically give props for this weekend’s order. We were hosting an event (kid’s birthday party at a local park with a couple dozen parents) and noticed Ground Control offers coffee travelers to go at a comparable price to a well-known chain — no-brainer to support local! We notified in advance and were able to customize the order to our needs (number of cups, cream/sugar to go with, and even provided stirrers for us when we asked). Not only was the order ready when we arrived for pickup, but the order was also packed with care AND we were offered the opportunity to add a non-dairy option (oat milk).
