My kiddos are 6 & 7 years old. My daughter is 6, and is doing extremely well. She has developed nicely in work ethic and discipline in a very short amount of time. My son is 7 and on the spectrum. His core was weaker than most kids, and he needed additional discipline, structure, and physical awareness. The patience, professionalism, and kindness that the staff has shown has been amazing. His progress has been amazing.

Mr. Brown is our usual instructor, and he does an amazing job of keeping control, and and keeping the class flowing. He is constantly giving the class life applications for what he is teaching, and we appreciate that.

Miss Williams was a guest instructor a few weeks ago, and she taught a lot of stuff in class that transfers to life. I truly appreciate that. Sportsmanship, manners, and things of that nature are very important to me and my family. It was great to see it reinforced in that environment, and in that manner.

This past Friday night, Master Brown and Katie, a volunteer, taught a Female Only Self Defense Class for 14 Veterans and their invited guest. The class was absolutely amazing! Master Brown has a way of interacting with the women during this event that allowed them to open up to him and welcome his challenge to empower themselves. He was not only kind, and caring, but due to the subject matter he was firm and informative. Katie stepped in and showed a strength of her own that only contributed to the empowering message. The best part, for me, was when each woman, of varying backgrounds and sizes, realized their inner strength was not in physical size but in their mental awareness. Brown's Leadership Martial Arts was definitely a great choice for this Veteran event. My 15 year old daughter and I have been attending Brown’s martial arts for about 3 years now and we LOVE IT! Great exercise for me, discipline and self defense knowledge that gives my daughter the ability and confidence to defend herself in case she ever needs it. We love the family ambiance, the camaraderie, we made many friends! Everyone is so patient and they treat us like family. Helping the community every chance they get.
