The anchor tenant is the local IGA, Carlie C's, where you will find personal, friendly service while you shop to fill your home pantry or drop by for a hot lunch in their deli department. The fried chicken and comfort sides are definitely satisfying whether you're feeding 1 or packing for a group picnic! There are a variety of other necessary service-oriented businesses also...medical supplies & services, music, personal care & spa services, a quality barber shop, a credit union, insurance, pharmacy, optical, laundromat, florist, physical therapy & bioengineering consultants. My personal favorite is Focus Nail Salon & Spa. This is an established family business focused on comfort, cleanliness, quality and genuine care for their clients. The prices are more than reasonable for the time they spend ensuring your satisfaction while you are there and after you leave. I highly recommend that you stop by and relax in a massage chair while taking care of those feet! They are conscientious of offering an environment that is aseptic & well- maintained; they are up-to-date on all the trends, however quality is #1 priority. Have you ever heard the expression, "less is more"? Well, don't go looking for all the extra bling because the elegance of simple quality care speaks volumes regarding character & reputation...yours...

K & W cafeteria is too much for my handicapp, besides, I can cook better with only 1 hand, while I prop on the other, I don't think anyone cooks at home anymore! I had favorites, but are no longer in business for some reason, was always full. I tried Tuesdays awhile back, just to treat myself to a delicious late lunch. & they were not busy, like all the fast food places. Lots coming in, drive- thru was bumper to bumper, got inside it was clean, so nice & cool, I'll never go thru a drive thru & go hone & eat at same table, see same TV shoes, getting fewer & fewer though, I don't need just noise, have enough I can't help (Tinnitus/ Menieres disease), T is for ringing in your ears 24/7, 7 days a wk, you can never get rid of it, it's inherited. Menu is inherited also, it's a dizziness way beyond vertigo, I take 3 pills a day & have since it was made, 40 yrs etc. It takes lots of patience to deal with these 2. Maybe that's why I have lots of it. I want peace, quiet, good food, reasonable, & be cool or warm, which ever...

There is so much I can say about Bordeaux. My doctor is there. When I finish there, I can get my grocery shopping done at Carlie C's. The meats there are always good quality and there is usually a butcher to cut your steaks and chops to your preferred thickness. The sales staff are always friendly. After grocery shopping I can walk on down to K&W cafeteria for a delicious lunch or dinner. You have many choices from a cold entrée to a hot meal. The choices of meat on down to dessert are many. You choose what you like and the helpings are large enough to have leftovers. The drink refills are free and your waitress will even give you a to go cup along with your to go plate.
