I really love this ramen shop. It became what felt like home for a very long time. I came by every night after I got off work. Always got a Spicy ramen with no egg and extra bean sprouts. I loved the atmosphere and quickly became a regular. Constantly having lovely chats with Sato and the cashiers. Recently a new owner has come in. This new owner I thought was very sweet at first. Very nice. Has begun causing problems when I come in. And has now lied about me on a Google review. On the day he stated that I was there although he did not directly refer to me. I was actually going to leave as the cashier was counting the money. But didnât get the chance because he had asked me to leave. To which I replied â I completely understand and Iâm sorryâ. He did not repeat himself. And was a little aggressive with his command but understanding I left because I didnât want to cause any problems. In anytime if I had overstayed my welcome I wish I would have been told but seeing as the cashiers seem to love when I stop by I did not see a problem. If I am truly unwelcome at your restaurant I wish I would have been told except for in a scathing review reply. Thank you and I apologise for any wrongdoing I may have done. But I do believe you have...
Read moreFirst Impressions.... impressed. I ate here for the first time today and I will definitely be returning.
The establishment was clean and inviting, the service was friendly and fast, and the food was wonderful. I had the Cha Shu Men Ramen and Shumai today. The shumai was wonderful, served with good soy and fresh mustard. It was very fresh/clean tasting and had a lovely bouncy texture. The Ramen was also very good. I felt like the pork may have lacked a bit of flavor, but it was incredibly tender and the portion was generous. A seasoning blend was served alongside the meal in a shaker and I thought it paired well with the pork, dipped in a bit of the soy. The noodles were cooked perfectly. The broth was the standout... as it should be in my opinion. There was a great depth of flavor and umami along with a very pleasant mouthfeel.. It's clear that this is a well prepared broth and that the chef isn't trying to replicate umami by loading it with salt.
I thought the serving sizes were appropriate for the price and I left energized opposed to feeling drowsy. I feel like the meal was very balanced...
Read moreMy daughter took me here for the first time. Never heard of the place before she brought me here. Her friend brought her here and since has requested to eat here twice with me. The first time I ate here I got to Cha Shu Men Ramen, a side order of Shumai and my daughter got the Tongkatsu Ramen. Everything was soooo good!!! A big portion of ramen, I was so full when I left there. The ramen I got had sliced pork, boiled eggs, bean sprouts, fish cakesâŠit was such a treat. The second time we went, my daughter got the same thing and I tried the gyoza and salmon inagiri. The inagiri was ok, kind of dry and not much filling inside. Prices are very affordable and wasnât over priced or overrated. The first time we went the cashier was very friendly but the second time she didnât smile that much. A smile goes a long way and that could go for all the workers there. I gave 4 stars because people could smile and greet more but the food is definitely a 5. I will definitely be going back to this...
