I had a horrible experience here today with “Dr.” Muhammad Wasi Haq. And really the entire place. I arrived at 730 when they opened. I’m a travel nurse and went in for a simple physical and drug screen for pre-employment. People were coming in an hour after me and going back to see the doctor and I waited patiently of course. I was there 4.5 hours. when the doctor finally came in, handed me a pair of paper shorts and told me to change into them and he would be right back. (Which I’ve NEVER had to do before and isn’t not necessary for my employment physical exam) And Against my better judgment I did.. When the doctor came back in he starts reading through my file and when he gets to the medications he blows his lid and as me “Why are you taking Norco”? I tell him I’m taking it as needed because I have scoliosis and after working 3-4, 12 hour shifts every week, lifting patients, ect..my neck and lower back become extremely painful. He literally blew a gasket and WENT OFF on me, scolding me, ect...it blew my mind!! This “doctor” told me I was going to end up on the streets looking for something stronger!Baffled by this, I just looked at him and told him that my Norco was a PRN prescription and I do not take it every day, in fact that I had brought my prescription with me that was filled in AUGUST and I STILL had HALF of a bottle left! I don’t even drink, have never done drugs and I assured him I would never go to the “streets” looking for drugs! He was raising his voice and talking to me and treating me like I was some kind of crack head!! He then pushes my nose up and shines his pen light into my nostrils checking each one out in detail...I guess you can imagine what he was looking for..signs of cocaine use??! I have NEVER had a doctor to do this to me, EVER! Especially not for an employment physical exam. He then tells me I look exhausted and asks me if it’s the Norco making me tired! I told him no sir, it’s not ! I’m a night shift nurse and just worked 3 shifts in a row and it’s hard switching over to day shift and had to wake up at 5am to be there at 7am, and not being used to sleeping at night I had a very hard time sleeping, so yes I’m tired. I then ask him how much longer are we going to talk about Norco?! He then goes on to ask me if the hospital I’m going to be working at knows I’m taking the medication! I proceed to tell him I’m sure they will..just like every other hospital I’ve worked at across the country, a drug screen is required and the hospitals are informed of the results and it’s never been a problem because I have a prescription and I do not take it while I am at work! At this point, I’m fuming and cannot believe the experience I’m having. Also, when he asked me to lay back (which is normal) he proceeds to lift my shirt up and asked me if I have tattoos!!!! WHICH IS DEFINITELY NOT NORMAL!!! WHAT does this have to do with my ability to be a nurse??! I am clean, well dressed, professional, articulate and have ONE script of Norco that has lasted me 3 months! WHY did I have to put paper shorts on?? WHY did he lift my shirt up?? WHY did he lift my nose/nostrils up?? WHY did he ask if I have tattoos?? WHY did he go off on me for 30 minutes about my little prescribed medication?! I am a professional nurse and have been all over the county, gotten oodles of physical exams and drug test with ZERO issues and NO doctor has Ever done what this man did to me. He walked out very irritable and rude and did not say another word as the door almost slammed in my face. Oh, and the document I brought in for the doctor to sign was lost and my company had to fax it over to them..I’m sure that probably added to the wait time as well. I literally walked out of there in tears! Crying! And that’s not easy to do with me. Words can not describe how violated, demeaned, and horrible I felt. I’m writing this review to hopefully save someone from the same experience with this “doctor”. Trust me when I say stay away from here and do not send your employees here. This place should not be...
Read moreOn 8/24/2020 I went into Concentra on Owen Drive in Fayetteville, NC with my 6 year old son to receive a drug screening at approximately 3:00pm. I was instructed I can wait inside or outside in my vehicle due to COVID and the risk especially with me having my child I decided it’ll be best if I waited outside in my vehicle for my child safety. At about 4:20 they called me to come into the building ask I was trying to answer the phone call my phone began to freeze up. So I grabbed my son and rushed into the building. I went to the desk where a man was in front of me speaking with the front desk clerk for about 2 minutes. I then approached the desk and told them I missed a call about a minute or two ago from them. Jacqui the front desk manager then told me they called several times and to have a seat. I began to show them I just recently missed the call and I was only contacted once. Rudely I was told to have a seat and wait for my name to be called. They then proceeded to call over 5 more people before me and I approached the desk again and asked about calling me they insisted I sit and wait in the waiting area again with a child and the circumstances were living in. They then called my name about 40 minutes later. Took me to another waiting room and called the rest of the people in the waiting room to the back and took them before seeing me, leaving my son and I the last ones in the building. I then began to question why was I being the last one seen Jacqui then went to the back and told her nurses “hurry up and get this lady out of here” very rudely. The nurse Rita called me to the back and I was still asking Jacqui why was I taken last Rita jumped in and said “whatever, put your bag in here” not asking me for identification or anything. I asked why was I being treated this way. And no one said a word so I grabbed my son and began to exit the building but I needed the test to be done due to home schooling my son and the hours of operation. So I turned around and took the test. Due to Rita being rude and me saying I don’t feel safe with her administering my test a lady named Michelle took over. I’ve never experienced nothing like this. Very unprofessional and tacky. Everyone was rude except Michelle. You would’ve thought I known these women and did something to them. Not only did they disrespect me but disregarded there was a child present. There was no sanitation in place, no one wiped down the chairs or cleaned the door handles. Just allowed people in with no precaution. The company has yet to call me back and I’m not sure why but I wonder if they had something to do with it. These are hard times we are living in and to play with someone’s employment isn’t cool not to mention HEALTH! II was the last patient seen 2 1/2 hours later and the last to exit the building when I was there before...
Read moreI was taken to CONCENTRA w/an injury to my R Middle Finger, which, I caught in a metal door. I did not have to wait long at all! Like less than 15 mins to be taken to the back! NOT 8-12 HOURS! I was seen immediately, extremely professionally & with the utmost care & compassion. They completed x-rays of my finger & could read them! Thankfully I did not break the bone. So, they decided to stitch up my finger. I was so worried about the process of numbing my finger and they took the time to explain it to me and reassure me they were in no hurry and would not proceed until my finger was completely numb. They completed the numbing process, go in the webbing between the fingers! She did this process very slowly numbing each time before moving deeper into my hand to get to the nerve that went to that finger. They tested my numbness and determined that one side was completely numb and the other was not so she actually repeated the process to try an numb my finger! WOW, would NOT have gotten that treatment less than a block away!! They ended up putting 4 stitches in my finger, cleaned it up then bandaged it and put a splint on it thank God because I bumped it on everything! All of my visits afterwards went the exact same way, in and out in no time! But, each time I went back they ALL treated me very professionally, and with care and compassion and with patience! Even when I returned to get the stitches removed! Took their time working on my hand and asked me over and over again "are you ok" because they actually care! She worked slowly and with determination, to get the stitches out and did not hurt me once!! I have been in the Fayetteville area for 25 years and I have NEVER EVER been this pleased with any medical provider in this area! The staff at CONCENTRA are the absolute best I have ever dealt with they are truly amazing!! You will not be disappointed going...
