✨ A Delightful First Visit—But Definitely Not the Last! My wife Gloria and I had our first experience at Charson’s Buffet, and it couldn’t have been more enjoyable. Even more exciting—we visited during their opening weekend, just their third day in business! 🍽️ The food selection was nothing short of fabulous—delicious, diverse, and plentiful. There was truly something for everyone, and everything we tried was fresh and flavorful. Gloria especially loved the cabbage—cooked to perfection—while I couldn’t get enough of the BBQ chicken, full of rich, smoky flavor. 😊 The staff was equally impressive: friendly, attentive, and helpful without being intrusive. Our server—who had joined this location from Charson’s original spot in Hope Mills—not only provided excellent service but also remembered that Gloria enjoys lemon with her water and brought her lemon slices without even being asked. It’s those thoughtful touches that truly stand out. ⏰ We were first in line when the doors opened, and while the restaurant wasn’t full when we started our meal, it began to fill up by the time we finished—a promising sign for a brand-new spot. 🌟 The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a spacious layout that made the entire dining experience feel comfortable and relaxed. All in all, it was a truly wonderful outing. We’re already looking forward to returning and exploring more of what Charson’s Buffet has to offer....
Read moreMy recent visit to Chason's Buffet left me with an overall impression of "fine." The atmosphere was pleasant enough, with a comfortable, somewhat rustic decor that aimed for that classic Southern charm. It wasn't particularly memorable, but it certainly wasn't off-putting. For my meal, I opted for the fried chicken, a true test of any Southern kitchen. The chicken itself was adequately crispy on the outside and somewhat dry within. It lacked that truly standout, well-seasoned flavor that makes you crave more. It was okay, but not great. The sides, mac and cheese, cabbage also just… okay. The mac and cheese was a little overcooked, and cabbage was bland. It's not a place I'd rush back to, but I wouldn't actively discourage someone from...
Read moreVery UN organized the way the food is set up the food gets contaminated. They actually need someone to serve the food to keep it from dripping into the other pans of food. Just like at the salad bar, the ranch dressing had dripped into the French dressing Nobody payed any attention. Food containers were set back, so you had to reach up under the glass. So if you've got any kind of beans or whatever was in the next pan the juice would drip into whatever was in front of it causing contamination stood in line over an hour then was set at a table to get right back in a line to stand another forty five minutes no, thank you.It was not worth it and the food was cold several people said that they would not be back first...
