I realize that my negative review will have no effect on business at this store due to prime clientele and location but if you’ve read this far please drive a little further to a Kay Jewelers outside Fayetteville. I had my ring serviced in December before leaving Texas. Apparently the inspection was never put into their system. Fast forward to May, I lost the stone out of my ring and needed to have it fixed right away. Customer service was very understanding over the phone. However, upon arriving at the store I was met with rude attitudes and condescending tones about how I missed my inspection and they weren’t going to honor fixing my ring. Even though my husband had spent an hour on the phone with the customer service line and this customer service rep the night before. She was very rude and condescending about the whole ordeal talking about how I needed to keep up with my inspections or this would not be replaced again. I again explained that it was inspected in December and was t due until June (just as we had explained on the phone) but she was hearing none of it. She was in charge at that point and felt the need to be belittling. Fast forward again to picking up the ring. This same rep was there and “helped” us. My husband asked for physical proof that we had come in and had the ring inspected that day. All we wanted was a print out of what was on her iPad. We were told she can’t do that because she doesn’t have access to that. Even though she was inputting the inspection right in front of us. Once again she was very rude and condescending again telling me to be more careful and keep up with inspections. We settled for taking a picture of her iPad for proof the inspection had been put in and left. I think the nicest interaction I had was with the lady who called me to tell me my ring was ready for pickup. Highly do...
Read moreBefore going into this location my husband and I called just to verify if it would be alright for me to go and get my ring cleaned without him considering he was the one who purchased the item. I got there and spoke with a African American female who turned out to be very snooty, stuck up, and rude just to verify if it would be alright if I had gotten my ring cleaned and that there wouldn't be a problem since my husband wasn't with me and she had stated that it was ok. Because her whole attitude about the whole thing from me greeting her and asking her questions was just terrible I proceeded to ask her if I could buy the jewelry cleaner so I would never have to come in the store again to get my ring cleaned and then she asked me for my BOYFRIENDS information which I had clearly stated at the beginning that he was my husband and I gave it to her and proceeded to ask her why she needed this information. She tells me she needed his information just so she doesn't have to put my information in the computer which didn't make much sense to me because I am the one who has the ring I just feel like she just didn't want to do her job and it could have took no more than two seconds to just put my name on the account. I think she definitely needs to take a class on customer service and how to treat and and greet her guest when entering the store because her attitude was very poor and she needs...
Read moreI've had nothing but problems with this location. On valentine's day my husband bought me a gift from the Kays in alaska for me to pick up here in fayetteville because he is stationed there. They called me to pick it up but when I got there they couldn't find it. Another time I went there to get a necklace repaired and talked to a male associate about getting my ring inspected when I picked up my necklace he told me if I couldn't find the paperwork it would be ok because they could just look it up. When I returned to get my necklace I didn't have the paperwork and the female associate was rude and wouldn't inspect my ring without it. Today I went to pick up my anniversary gift and was told I couldn't until my husband called customer care. He ended up putting me on the account and the associate had to call to figure out how to release it to me. Are you kidding me train your associates!!! My friend was with me looking at jewelry and no one asked if she needed help but when two men came in 2 associates helped them. The other review was right we are a military town and they are not...
