Let’s start with the good stuff. The hotel it’s self is nice with its design and technology. The rooms are nice and spacious and the TV has the capability to watch your apps (Netflix etc) from your phone which is a big deal for me. However, the cleanliness of the room was subpar at best. It looked okay on the surface but once I dropped a little water on the floor less than 30 minutes of being in the room and when I wiped it up with a tissue it came up BLACK. I was shocked. There was also dust everywhere and not just a little bit a layer. The ice bucket I had to wash in the sink because there was so much dust blown on it’s cap. My shower wasn’t cleaned either and I know because a plastic top that goes on their complimentary shampoo and conditioners was on the floor in the actual shower but at that point I was already unpacked and it was 5 hours later so I was stuck.

Another real problem is the lack of possible training and accountability of their staff and their website. They either have extremely nice employees or rude ones that give you a side of eye roll when asking a question like about getting a coffee at 2pm when your website clearly states you can get coffee 24/7 at the coffee bar but apparently I missed a memo where that was smoke and mirrors. I also learned that those tags they supply in every room that says “Let’s reschedule” to tell housekeeping that you don’t need them means absolutely nothing. I had mine out and they started banging on the door at noon when I was napping and didn’t leave until I answered.

The last infuriating thing is the price gouging they do. What they charge for for some nights and they raise it by doubling the...

I’m a Hyatt Explorist, travel a lot for work and stay at multiple Hyatt Place’s all the time. This is my third stay at this specific hotel and I’m only posting this review after I requested to speak with the manager and never heard back. This hotel is clearly not up to the Hyatt Place standards. Here’s why:

the front desk staff has a very “unwilling to help” attitude even regarding basic asks that should be their responsibility (such as updating my housekeeping preferences, providing extra towels, etc.) the restaurant/bar has gas station offerings only — while they advertise differently. It’s frozen items such as pizza that they heat up and serve for you. (Thankfully better food options are a quick walk away) the stairways are dirty (this morning I found stained dirty towels just tossed in the stairwell) the young staff running / manning the hotel is unwilling to help with a quick “not my job” attitude I have now checked into a “clean” room twice with heavily stained coffee mugs, towels, and not clean room and furniture

I’m sure the manager will now try to contact me while my polite request to speak went unanswered. I’ll update this...

Stayed three nights. 10/10 would recommend and would definitely stay here again. Honestly, one of the best stays I’ve stayed in years! Clean room. Didn’t encounter a staff member who wasn’t friendly. Close to everything. Breakfast was fresh and tasted good, even 30 mins before the shutoff time and they were still refilling empty trays with fresh food. Late checkout was a pleasant surprise. No microwave in the room but there IS one available close to the breakfast area. Small refrigerator in room was clean and worked great. AC/heat in room (we used both due to a wide swing in temperature change due to a cold front) worked great, was always comfortable. Beds were in good condition and bedding was so comfortable. Rooms were well insulated from sound. Blackout curtains were fantastic. Most hotel shampoos are barely better than washing with bar soap but their shampoo was great! Indoor pool and hot tub were clean and well kept. I let the front desk person know about a food spill in the elevator and they immediately took care of it. There was a usb and usb type c port in the room. I can’t say one...

I have stayed at Hyatt Place in Fayetteville several times in the past. Each stay has been wonderful. They are conveniently located just down the street from JJ’s Live where I’ve attended several concerts. It is also very easy to get to and from UArk campus (less than 10 minutes) Both of my kids attend UArk, so it’s nice to have a nice, clean place to stay. Everyone is always so nice and helpful. Brittney went out of her way to help me with arrangements for UArk Graduation and Abbey was very helpful at check in. The breakfast area is spacious, with plenty of seating. The food is good, I can’t complain. The lobby is always so clean. I’ll definitely stay here more in the future.

Really liked staying at this hotel. Stayed there to go watch Breaking Benjamin at JJ's Live. My only complaint would be that we were placed on the 2nd floor with a kids' volleyball team, so we had kids yelling and running up n down the halls all night. We could also hear the room above us get up at 6:37am and stomp around until about 8. So we didn't get much sleep. The breakfast was amazing, though! It's much better than any IHG chain we've stayed at. All n all I'd stay there again. The front desk staff was great!
