I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this salon. Every time I go there, they are so nice and even if I have to wait, it's never more than 15 minutes as a walk in. I have been a long time acrylic and gel nail fan, however, my natural nails were always such a wreck that I couldn't go without nails. I spoke with the staff at Pearl Nails and they suggested that I try the dipping powder. Now, I had heard all kinds of horror stories about the dipping powder. I had heard it was unsanitary and that everyone's nails and germs were in those pots of color. I did my research and decided that I would at least try it once. Let me tell you, once I went to dipping powder I never went back to acrylic. My nails are healthier and grow fast. I don't have any issues with peeling of my natural nail, or cracking or breaking. My nails last anywhere from 3 weeks to a month before I need to go in and get a new set. As far as the hygienic portion of it....before your nail even goes into the dipping powder, you have to wash your hands and then your technician will wipe your nails and fingers down with acetone, which will kill any bacteria or fungus on the nail. As a healthcare professional, I am always careful about bacteria and "germs" and this method is one of the best methods that I have ever tried. I highly recommend the dipping powder, but not every salon is the same. I made the mistake of going to another salon and getting the "same" dipping powder. It was definitely not the same. Not only did they look horrible but it took about an hour and a half to soak off. The SNS only takes about 20 minutes tops to soak off. I highly suggest going to Pearl Nails and trying it out. If you don't like it, its easy to switch back to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo I been here multiple times but today was just so uncomfortable. My experience began very nice, I showed an older lady the last picture of what I wanted for both my toes and hands. Now, she sat me down said okay but handed me stickers instead so I looked at them and didnāt say anything because i knew she couldnāt draw but she never said nothing and she handed me the stickers, so I picked some nice ones, I wanted to have a positive experience today and not start out like this. She proceeded to adding some black dots which I never asked for and the white is not the same as my hands or the picture as you can see. Iām already uncomfortable didnāt say anything because again I wanted to have a positive visit and just agreed for her to finish and add the stickers, moved on to my hands, I came to relax. I been here before and the owner makes sure to repeat what I want (itās normally the same because my natural nails are long) because is like they donāt get it which is annoying they should know if Iām showing them a picture and youāre agreeing. They bring the last person who did my nails which was dip with a gel design on top! How hard is that? Well after being switched multiple times in a chair and having google translate on hearing them go back and forth about what I wanted it, I was very uncomfortable especially after paying $123. I usually leave a tip here but I felt horrible today. My hands where so nice and Iām super happy with them but itās all a big miss communication here and my hands are completely opposite to my toes. Make sure to have google translate on in your lap, and talk to the owner (Rose)she knows what you want and will make sure they...
Ā Ā Ā Read moretoday was the first time i ever visited this nail salon. i called ahead to make sure they had time for walk ins for a specific time and i was told that they do not have many appointments so i can come when i can. when i was seated the lady doing my pedicure let me feet soak per usual when getting a pedicure. then she started to trim my cuticles with the cuticle trimmer. i felt her grab and take off a good bit of SKIN (not cuticle) that was not supposed to be cut off obviously because it hurt bad and i started bleeding. she kept picking at it with the cuticle trimmer. i softly pulled my foot back towards me to let her know what she did hurt and then when she was done she started using the drill and repeatedly kept drilling my cuticle on BOTH of my big toes which also made me bleed. again i pulled my foot back and took a look at my feet and they were very red and they burned. i also realized that she didnāt even bother to paint the WHOLE nail on any of my toes. i really trusted the good reviews for this place but i am very disappointed. my toes are still sore even after a whole day. i just know im never gonna come back. then when i went to pay they charged me $71 !!! i got the basic pedicure that was $35 and i got gel. iām pretty sure they arenāt supposed to be charging $36 (which was the price difference) for gel. i still tipped bc itās a service they provided. but i donāt think iāll be coming back. i means JUST LOOK AT ALL THE GAPS LEFT WITH NO PAINT!!!! VERY SLOPPY JOB ALSO!!!!!!! wish i could give...
