This place is horrible and the owners have demonstrated a lack of integrity and professionalism. I went to Restore for a piece of table glass, I spoke to Bill ( Executive Director) who had a piece of glass in the back. He took me back showed it to me and gave me a quote. I accepted the deal and told him I would be back with my truck on Monday (this being Friday and Saturday being the 4th of July) to pick it up, he assured me it would be there and that it was mine. I, unfortunately , got called in to work on an ambulance on Monday so I called the store and explained the situation to the person who answered the phone. I also told them I would be there to pick up the glass on Tuesday morning and left my phone number. Bill was unavailable so she told me that he would get the message. I went in today at 1030 and Bill was out, however an incredibly rude and unpleasant man was there. They had placed the glass on a table base and had decided that they could make 400 dollars more that way then by honoring their agreement with me. The guy that " helped" me was quite a jerk about it and I had left a message and have been ignored. No integrity!!! I guess a hand shake isn't worth much these days. I can't say this emphatic enough DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH...
Read moreNot crazy about this place. I went in and was initially pleasantly surprised at some of the selections they had in LVP, crown molding, baseboards, etc but their prices aren't that good when you realize almost every single piece has significant imperfections. I ended up buying some LVP, crown molding, and baseboards. Many of the baseboards and crown molding were really beaten up pretty bad so I asked if I could exchange a couple of pieces as I was paying for the product. They told me that normally they don't allow exchanges and I would have to speak with the manager And it was a case-by-case basis on whether they would allow me to do that. I literally was purchasing the product as I was asking to exchange some of the most beaten up pieces! I think it's very poor customer service that I should even have to argue this with the person working the register about this. It almost felt as if I should have just given them my money for the product regardless and just shut my mouth because they were doing me some sort of favor and I should be honored to give them my money since they are a charity. Unfortunately, I'm in a business and can't just throw away money if the pieces are too...
Read moreI never realized that it was so difficult to donate things to a business. I called to schedule a pick up of a complete set of kitchen cabinets in good condition, both tops and bottoms. I never got a call back so I called them back 3 days later; they said they had no record of my pick up being scheduled. I scheduled another pickup. I was told I'd be called Monday to choose a time...they called Tuesday to ask if they could pick them up Wednesday at 1:00, I agreed. They called Wednesday (Today) to reschedule for 4:00 as they had a pick up at Bragg that I was told flat out was more important, I agreed to 4 o' clock pick up (I took off work for this, by the way). I just received a call asking if next Tuesday was good...I said no. The caller said "Ah man, you can't hold them for a few more days?" Six days is not a few days, its a week. This is, by far, the most unprofessional establishment I have ever had the displeasure of working with. The punchline of the whole ordeal...I live less than a 5 minutes drive from...
