University of Arkansas - Treasurer's Office — Local services in Fayetteville

As usual in our increasingly computer-controlled society, the humans I dealt with at the UA Treasurer's Office were polite, patient, and they tried to help, but someone has failed to empower them with the information they need and deserve, to help with the hot cyber mess that has, for the last two days, disallowed me from paying my daughters UA tuition. First, we spoke by phone as they walked me through online payment through UA Connect, which they did not know how to make work. Next I went physically into the Treasurer's Office, where they told me they could not accept payment in person by card (even though the UA requires payment by card on its "cashless campus"). Next they helped me by phone to pay through eCommerce, which also did not work. Next, they helped me by phone to try to pay through Cashnet, which did not work. Currently, they are asking someone else how to pay tuition, and I'm waiting to hear from them at some point by phone. They weren't able to guarantee that I would not be charged a late fee for trying repeatedly,...

Pathetic. Instead of helping students with legitimate problems, they just hang up on you! If you call and try to have reasonable conversation with them, 110% expect for them to hang up.
