First of all I donât shop at rainbow, but I stop by Ashley Stuart to shop, and they are next door, so I stopped in to look around. Saw a few cute items and purchased them.. couldnât try them on due to COVID rules, once I got them home didnât like the fix. There policy is to return in 7 days for full refund. I have a busy schedule so on the seventh day I look at their website to see there hours, the website said closes at 8 pm, so I rushed from work after getting off at 7 pm to take the items back, to find out the hand written sign on the door said they close at 7pm! I was leaving for out of town the next morning so now that mean I could only get store credit. When I took my items back, the store manager was working as the cashier, I had 5 items that I purchased at the same time on the same day, she asked if I had a different receipt for one of the items I told her no, the were all purchased at the same time, so she figured out that problem, when she gave me my receipt for the store credit it was only for $ 43.00 when I told her my receipt was for $ 63.00 she said that one of the items were rung up times 2, and I needed to return the the other items, I told her that I only bought one of those items and didnât have the need to purchase two, that who ever the cashier was rung the item up twice , she said she had no proof that , that happened, I asked to speak to a manager she said she was the manager. I wouldnât give up so she said she would call her boss to see what see would say, her boss said to give me the credit. She Adams to step to the side while she called her boss, and so that she could take care of the other customers. After she got off of the phone with her boss, she took care of about 5 other customers, I asked her what did her boss say, she said to give me credit but she wasnât going to take care of me until she clears the customers in line, it was almost closing time so customers were continuing to get in line. After about 35 minutes of waiting for her, I got back in line because she would have had me standing in line until they closed.. even though I paid 63.00 for my purchase I was only returned 53.00 the other 10.00 was for some type on tax. I only got 3.00 of tax credit back... the manager made me feel like I was a thief, when actually she is the one stealing from the company, ringing up items twice an pocketing the extra money when her draw comes up over. I will never return to any rainbow, I took it all as a lose because after leaving the store I tore my credit receipt up, I will take the lost.. RAINBOW SUCKS, manager is...
