Peacock Electric is a very dependable and honest organization. I'm not one to usually write reviews, but I have to give credit where credit is due. I tried working through my "home warranty" policy to get someone to my home to resolve my AC issue. I called them Saturday evening to notify them of my problem. I went without AC the rest of the weekend and up until 10 AM on Monday morning and still hadn't heard from the "no name" company who was supposed to call and schedule an appointment. This could have gone on for days. I decided "the heck with my home warranty policy" and called Peacock Electric this past Monday morning...someone actually answered the phone (didn't have this with the other company)...and Layton A. was at my house within the hour. He showed up and had my AC running within 15 minutes and all at a very reasonable cost! Needless to say, I didn't have the work performed through my home warranty policy so the expense was all mine, but again, it was a very fair and surprisingly inexpensive fix. There are two lessons I learned with this experience: #1: Don't rely on your "home warranty" policy to fix an AC problem, especially in time of immediate need. You'll have to work around their policy parameters regarding time, who comes out, etc. #2: Call Peacock Electric for anything you need regarding the services they provide. Newer home hvacs was clogged and leaking everywhere. I left a message late at night saying it wasn't urgent. First thing the next morning I got a call and they said they could send someone over that morning. They showed up right when they said they would, took care of the problem quick and easy and were very professional. While they were there I was asked if they wanted me to service and inspect the HVAC system since they were already there and I had said I had an appointment setup for later that month. I said sure since I know that saved me between $70-100. All in all it was under $185 for them to come out the morning after I called, clean out my clogged lines, inspect my hvac, install new pvc, add in a port for me to flush outdoor bleach in to keep from getting clogged in the future, inspect/service outdoor unit, deal with the warranty department of my AC unit (so I didn't have to) to be reimbursed for the capacitor that needed replaced, install the new capacitor, and explain everything to me. Completely happy with the quality and cost of the service and staff with this company. I will use them from now on...

The day after hurricane Helene, I called at 11:00, and Rebecca had someone available that day at 1:00. Robert pulled in at 1:00. He diagnosed an unusual problem quite quickly, the storm fried the transformer. He had that fixed within 30 minutes. We needed a breaker replaced. He ran to the store and was back in no time. Robert's courtesy and professionalism were evident, as well as his knowledge. I've used Peacock in the past and I will continue to use them. If you want honest, professional work, use Peacock Electric, I highly recommend them!

Well we're back, in need of help with our AC this time. It's now May of 2025. I am so thankful for Robert at Peacock Electric. Looking back, every time I've called, we received service that same day. And when you know you can trust someone, it means all the difference in the world. Robert will go directly to the problem, his experience is obvious. Before you know it, he's fixed the problem.
