Should be zero stars. Many issues with this place and do not plan on returning. My child was administered the wrong vaccination and Iâve contacted the office multiple times and the agent advised they werenât responding and would call me back. None has yet to return my call after several days, offer a remedy or advice. I explained during the visit we needed to make sure he was up to date on his vaccinations per Indianaâs immunization school law. And if this wasnât completed he would not be able to attend school. It seemed clear and he was given a vaccination. I received a call from a school nurse that they gave him the wrong shot which is alarming since it shouldâve been in his charts and their own standards which vaccine was need according to his age. I was told he was good until he was 21 but they provided him with that shot instead of the one need for his current age. How this was handled incorrectly is beyond me and extremely concerning. Last year I was billed a specialist copay for a routine wellness check up where the majority of the visit was spent being read questions from a screen and a lecture about community service rather than an actual exam. Still havenât heard from anyone about this issue after calling multiple times. I thank good we arenât sickly people and require multiple visits. Wouldnât trust anyone here to treat paper cut let alone a serious health condition. IU is a joke and by far the worst healthcare system Iâve expected thus far. Was advised Iâm not able to see another doctor within the network for an appointment when the assigned doctor isnt available nor switch doctors period. The staff seemed lost the whole visit. Asked the medical assistant for his height and she responded she had to put it in the computer first. Instead of reading off the inches she had just wrote on her paid. But administering the wrong vaccine and not following up is the final straw. Thank god for minute clinics. Hope there are any harmful side effects from receiving similar vaccines back to back. Absolutely will be leaving this network and filing a VEARS complaint and any other...
Read moreFrom start to finish this office was absolutely horrible to deal with. They had me arrive 25 minutes early and the gentleman at the front desk was rude and then had me waiting forever to get pulled back. Really no reason to arrive that much earlier than my babyâs appointment. Then when we got pulled back instead of checking my babyâs vitals and ears they decided to jump straight into looking at her throat which is the reason why we were there but that caused her to cry hysterically so they couldnât even check her ears or anything to be sure she wasnât developing an ear infection. Then it took 10-20 minutes for the physician to come back into the room just to tell me they were sending a script to the pharmacy. At that point my baby was crying even harder so I was on my way out the door. Fast forward to an hour or two later my spouse called the office to be sure they sent a script over for antibiotics because she heard nothing from the pharmacy about it being ready and Tammy couldnât even tell her if it had been sent or not and kept saying âIâve sent a message to someone and I will call you backâ. Mind you this was at 4:30 on a Friday and we HAD to start our girl on the antibiotics asap. Well here it is Monday and we JUST finally got a call back. Not that it matters because this isnât our daughters primary office and my spouse called that office after getting off the phone with the lady who doesnât know how to properly preform her job and we got answers immediately. We will never take a same day appointment at this office ever again because every single person we encountered there was unprofessional and not helpful...
Read moreUpdate 4/12/19 - updated to 1 star. I really enjoyed seeing Austin Slayter who did a great job of taking care of me, but I was told I had to make an appointment with Dr. A since it was her practice. I made an appointment with Dr. A for an annual physical and was unable to see Dr. A. I was see by another physicans assistant for 10 minutes that addressed nothing and I wasted my annual visit paid from by insurance. I was asked if I would like ear wax removed, which I said yes and was billed 77.87! I was not told there would be a charge. This is a terribly run practice. I will never return here.
My initial review was "I saw Austin Slayter who was very personally and good at listening to me and making me feel welcome. Great experience. Would highly recommend." but service has gone down and down.
Updating my review from 5 stars to 3 star. I switched insurance and needed them to send approval to new insurance to get prescriptions refilled, including making a call to my new insurance provider that would allow me to keep my birth control free versus almost 100/month. I had to call 3 times to get this handled. frustrating that this was not handled quickly and efficiently since having my medications in stock is key to my health
8/7 - updating review to 2 stars, picked them as primary care provider and have again received slow service to a simple request. i have a chronic history of sinusitis which is documented in my chart, I see an allergy doctor for treatment. i called to have an antibiotic called in and have not...
