This has been my worst experience at an event ever. The concert "Lindsey Stirling" was amazing but everything else was lacking. I would think for a new venue they would have a better set up to get to your seats as well as more space. There is no leg space. It also seemed strange to me that you could see all of the food concessions from the seating however there was limited access to get to them from my seat. Seeing concessions I guess is okay if you are there for a hockey game but if you're there for a nice concert it's not really the background that I want to see. *Parking was the worst experience I've ever had. I find it hard to believe that this business model is legal. First there seems to be only one parking option " how convenient " and one way into the concert venue and traffic was horrible took us 45 minutes. Then there are no parking instructions no fees posted to tell you the cost, no parking attendant / station or even website, nothing just a tin sign with a QR code telling you to scan to pay. As a person who doesn't use QR codes or know how to use this ended up costing me greatly. I spent 45 minutes of my time trying to figure out how to pay for parking almost got hit by another car as I drive around trying to find assistance. I eventually left out of frustration thinking " they'll just mail me a bill." Well they did for $52 for my 2.5 hours of parking. 45 mins was used trying to figure out how to pay to park. I even looked at the event centers website for parking it was very difficult to find. When I did locate it I could only choose by event and the Lindsey Stirling event was not listed so I could not even pay via their site. This seems illigal to me. Not clearly posting parking costs or having any sort of assistance option for anyone who is struggling to figure out this weird parking model then just sending you a bill for what ever they feel like charging. This new world model of taking away customer service attendants, cashiers, etc and changing it to a self-service, figure it out on your own model to save money ( and not for the good of the consumer. They still are raising costs and charging ridiculous rates) is nothing but Greed. I feel taken advantage of after my interaction with this facility. I will not attend this facility or any other facility that uses this parking company or...
Read moreFood is expensive ($39 for 2 orders of chicken tenders & fries along with 2 bottled Diet Cokes is ridiculous), the ADA section & elevator (of which there is only one) feel like huge after thoughts. The glass in the ADA section 113 cuts off half of the video board, the spaces between the glass panels interrupts the flow of watching the games, there aren't enough "ribbons" around the arena to show the score and how much time is left. The only place it's visible is the center ice scoreboard. The scoreboard isn't bad, but it doesn't show how much time is left during intermissions. Then, who decided to put the ONE elevator right next to the stairs so access to the elevator is next to impossible to get to.
All-in-all, I am not happy at all with the facility. Changes need made, especially for the ADA section (which sold out and no more ADA seats are available, just a FYI). An additional elevator is needed as well.
I hate that I have to go back to watch a hockey game, but I have season tickets. Looks like I'm stuck until the season is over.
EDIT: Thanks, FEC, for not allowing for replies. Also, the boilerplate reply is just lovely (that's sarcasm, by the way). Maybe if you actually cared or concerned yourself with more than just the money & clientele (which has a , mostly, higher disposable income level you're bringing in instead of those of us who have to choose very carefully where we spend our money. Love the appreciation.
EDIT #2: Came back for another game. The 2 food items I purchased were awful and expensive. I purchased a sausage and pepperoni pizza. I took a bite and it tasted like mold. I had to spit it out. I couldn't eat anymore and threw it away. I, then, bought a hot dog. The bun was extremely dry and the actual hot dog was cold. I ate what o could because I was hungry, but I can ensure you that I will never purchase another food item in this facility ever again. I will buy my bottle of water ans that's it. I will give you as little of my money as I possibly can.
To say, again, that I am disappointed is an understatement. I truly had high hopes for the FEC. I will continue to tell everyone what I think of the venue when they ask. I don't want anyone else wasting their hard-earned money here, especially in...
Read moreThe parking for this place is ridiculous. Ticketmaster states you can pay cash when you leave. I go out to my car and find a QR code. Awesome scan it and pay. Then I get a letter in the mail stating I owe them almost $50. I call to figure out why then they had the nerve to say I paid from 10pm-2am. No one or anything ever said it was timed parking or to pay the second you park. You literally would need to pay 2 times for a concert timeframe. Then they sent me a letter saying they had an error. So I call and of course mine isn’t an error. My friend then calls me and he got a letter to contact a law office that they sent $26 he owes to collections. Like seriously this is all ridiculous! Oh fyi if you’re going and need handicap parking don’t count on it! We showed up early and they did not have any open. To add the cherry to the cake once your in you can not leave and come back in! If you are a smoker this venue is not for you! Like who in the world doesn’t have a smoke area? The overall venue is pretty don’t get me wrong. Get up and down between the floors was easy. But whatever you do don’t forget anything in your car because your not allowed back out even though they are charging an arm and leg. Try to eat beforehand because the food easily gets hard buns on the burgers because they cook and sit under a warmer. The only good feature was the cup they sell you soda in are weird little aluminum cups so if you get hot you can easily put the cup on your head to cool off. Absolutely never again will I buy tickets for an event at this center! What’s horrible is they are hosting a lot of country singers too! Rouff will always be better than this place even though the parking lot takes forever to get out of but at least they don’t have crazy rules no one...
