Market Basket — Local services in Fitchburg

The Marketbasket on John Fitch highway for my family and I who go shopping coz it's CONVENIENT as we have to walk so we have bags to put groceries in just like everyone else does and before I continue when I say that we shop I should say it's our 2nd home as we're always there and I want to be clear the cashier's, baggers,cart collection are GREAT and WELCOMING with POSITIVE ATTITUDES so when I say they I'm speaking ONLY UPON THE MANAGER'S who are EXTREMELY JUDGEMENTAL As THEY ALL FOLLOW my husband and I individually or together when we are shopping and it's All the time it makes us feel UNCOMFORTABLE UNEASY like we're going to steal and EVERY TIME we PROVE OTHERWISE,Now I have REPEATEDLY asked NOT TO BE TREATED LIKE A CRIMINAL when I am clearly shopping for my family or is it because my husband is Spanish and I'm white carrying backpacks to carry food back home,hmmm idk but instead of giving us a the benefit of the doubt and let us shop just like everyone else this Market basket would receive a 3 1/2stars instead of -1 Respect the customer's Have a blessed day everyone 👉🏻Clean up on Isle for Management failure system malfunction Need to...

Now this place has the nice prices. Sometimes when I buy the produce (peppers bananas and plums) will go bad very quickly I think they need to have there trucks checked for the cooling. It might be faulty. This place has excellent customer service. They really go the extra mile trying to make sure that the customer is really taken cared of before leaving. They made me feel welcome in the store. However outside of the store is a different story. The riff raft outside the liquor store is always around and begging for money not kept up very nice this is right next door to market basket. On a plus side Market Basket has a security guard in case anything really happens. Nothing really does though. Overall you can bring your family in for great deals and they do have restrooms and a great seafood department not to forget the markets kitchen where you can get fresh chopped salads caliber sandwiches pizza fried foods. This spot is my favorite in the store. The bakery is a great place to get birthday cakes and graduation cakes or whatever you need. They make fresh bread throughout the whole entire day. I just got home from shopping and felt the need to write a review. I had the unfortunate need to shop on the day before an up and coming snow storm. On a good day it’s my least favorite thing to do. The store was very crowded with check out lines that were very long. I was very impressed with a clerk named Margarita who was very patient and kind to an elderly customer who was having difficulty using the credit card/debit card machine. After helping her, the customer mistakenly voided out the transaction. The kind employee treated the woman with such respect and went over and above to reassure that everything was ok. The store manager then helped the woman to her car and loaded her groceries. When I got to my car another store employee offered to help me with my groceries. That young man was very excited to tell me that he was doing the Polar Bear plunge this weekend for Special Olympics because he is an athlete. I can’t say enough about...
