I donât usually leave negative reviews, but I feel a responsibility to share my experience with Flemington Powersports so others can make informed decisions.
At first, everything went great. The staff was friendly, the sale was smooth, the price was fair, and they even threw in a free helmet. I signed for the bike before it was serviced and was told Iâd need to return in a week to pick it up. No problem â until the morning I was supposed to get it.
Thatâs when I got a call saying: âWeâve got bad news⌠not going to sugarcoat it⌠we DROPPED the bike.â I drove an hour out to inspect the damage myself, only to find out it wasnât just âdroppedâ â it was wrecked during a test ride by one of their service techs. The bike slid out from under him, likely due to carelessness or lack of experience handling new tires.
To their credit, they promised to replace all the damaged components â new plastics, grips, mirrors, case covers, and more. On the surface, it looked like they made it right. But it quickly became clear that they rushed the job and didnât take the situation seriously enough, especially given that they totaled the bike before I even got to ride it.
When I finally received the bike â nearly a month after purchase â it already had issues. The ignition wasnât working properly, but I was willing to live with it⌠until my first ride.
The brake fluid reservoir hadnât been sealed properly and leaked all over the inside of the front cowl, cluster area, and even my helmet and face. The left side plastics were loose because the hardware wasnât tightened correctly. The front cowl was cracked due to the mirrors being torqued down way too hard. Within a couple of days, about 30% of the bolts holding the plastics on had fallen off â and at one point, the entire right-side fairing flew off mid-ride and hit my hand.
Then I noticed oil on my boot and shift lever. The bike was leaking â and I have serious doubts about whether they even installed the new gaskets or case covers properly after wrecking it.
Itâs now been two months since I signed and the bike has:
Lost about half of its oil
Plastics that have fallen off or are cracked
A faulty ignition
No follow-through on the promised QuadLock setup they said they would ship out, for the troubles
And worst of all, zero response despite reaching out multiple times to multiple people, including Ken Leek, the sales lead, directly at his personal number.
Bottom line: this place is run by kids. Unprofessional, inexperienced, and seemingly unconcerned with their word or reputation. They had every opportunity to own up and make it right â but once the sale was done, the accountability disappeared.
I had high hopes for this place, but after everything Iâve experienced, I wouldnât trust them with another sale or service again. If you're considering Flemington Powersports, I strongly recommend...
Read moreWow, what can I say? Where do I begin? The people at Flemington Powersports have treated me not as a customer, but more so as an actual member of their family, I went in on my day off to look for a quad. I didnât call ahead of time, nor did I schedule an appointment. However, from the second I walked in to the building, I was met with love and care from the sales team, as if I was a returning customer of 30 years! Mind you, this was my first time over there! I was helped my numerous associates, and was offered refreshments such as coffee, and snacks throughout my venture there. They even offered me catered lunch! I honestly couldnât believe the hospitality, and the authentic care Flemington Powersports gives to their customers. They helped me find a quad that I have been wanting for a long time, at a price that is incomparable to other dealerships! Needless to say, if you are somebody who is in need of any type of motorsports. Bikes, quads, etc. I can bet my whole credibility that there is no place like Flemington Powersports. Needless to say I am very excited to go back this weekend to pick up my...
Read moreI purchased a pre-owned Triumph Tiger 800 from Flemington Powersports. A pre-purchase inspection revealed an illuminated check engine light. When this issue was brought to the attention of Ken, he dismissed it after a brief test ride, claiming the light had extinguished itself. However, upon arrival at my residence, the motorcycle failed to start, requiring a battery charge before operation, and the check engine light remained illuminated. Subsequent evaluation by an independent motorcycle repair facility uncovered a significant misalignment of the forks (3/4 inch offset) following a fork seal replacement performed by Flemington Powersports Furthermore, the majority of the fork's fasteners were inadequately tightened. Despite discussions with Ken regarding compensation (supporting photographic evidence is attached) and subsequent follow-up emails, I have yet to receive a response. Based on this experience, I strongly discourage conducting business with this establishment.
(Update) Since writing this review, flemington powersports has made right on their...
