If I could give zero stars, I would!! We have been with Xfinity for several years and recently upgraded our phones. We did not make any changes to our plan or coverage, just switched to new phones. We have always carried protection plans on all devices and when my son's phone needed repair went right to Apple to have it taken care of. Imagine our surprise to learn from the folks at Apple that there were in fact no protection plans on these phones and that the protection plans were removed from our plan at the time we upgraded our phones!! What??? These are brand new phones, of course I want protection plans on them! This was never authorized by us or asked for by us, and since we have auto payment were did not notice that it had been dropped from the plan. We have spoken to all departments of Xfinity customer support, spoken to the manager in the store and provided them with details about our transaction and the exact person who handled our transaction, and we filed a complaint with the FCC. Still no one at this company, from the bottom to the top, will take responsibility for THEIR mistake nor will they remedy this situation. The customer service on the website is cumbersome, an AI bot will send you in a circle, then instruct you to set up a time for them to call you to cancel. I used the service for serval years, but after I moved the service would drop every time I stepped outside and disconnected from WiFi. Transferred my service to another carrier, however there was an extra "free" line on the account (which I was unaware of) that was not transferred, and I was continued to be billed. The free line was never activated, and no calls were ever made. The rep for Xfinity, Jane, was very nice, I was then transferred to the Xfinity Mobile rep, which I believe was outsourced out of the country. Also nice but took over half an hour to cancel the remaining line. Was given a credit for one month but will still charged 3 billing cycles - over $200 for a service I never used.
