Kohl's — Local services in Flint Charter Township

This store is absolutely horrible, the one by Genesee Valley Mall. They tricked me into getting a Kohl's credit card when I did not want one I just wanted the rewards card when I went up there and she's like okay we'll just sign this and do this and here's the kiosk and I thought I was signing up something like you know for the like a Kroger card type deal where you can get the discounts I don't even know what that is called there but the employee buy the shoes told me to go ask the customer service desk for a Kohl's card and I should be alright easiest pie but instead I ended up with another hard hit on my credit card and $1,000 limit Kohl's card and a place where I will probably shop once a year. I was more upset when I said no I don't want the credit card stop this what's stop it cancel it out she's like always gone too far for that now we can't do it even if I did call a manager and that's what really broke the camel's back right there, I was so unnerved that that woman knew what I wanted I went up there and basically told her that I needed the discount card because I wanted to be able to get the discount on some shoes I was by train in the only way I could get that was with that Kohl's card but that gentleman over there by the shoes told me to ask for well since he told me to ask for something specifically by name that's what I said and I think the name of their savings card as I think rewards 1 2 3 or something like that prank me if I'm wrong anybody cuz I don't go there very much I ended up getting this Kohl's card right then she gave me warmed up giving it to $10 Kohl's cash and which went unused and expired because I only had two days to use it and it was for school shopping this past September. I just spent a whole bunch of money I mean as far as being on a fixed income goes for my son in school clothes and I did not go to Kohl's I went 2 Plato's Closet which is a very nice used clothing store that sells name brand like Aeropostale and Hollister that's the story you want I mean they charge by the size so if you need 32 I think they're all 32 is there a certain price and then 34 isn't are a little bit more than 36 is there like a couple dollars more than that and so on. I hope nobody gets taken advantage of like this I ended up just keeping the card actually try to tell roommate with snake I turn right around and pay them $70 for the shoes so I didn't owe any money finally and haven't used it since. I have to use it now just to avoid it from being closed out but I didn't want to Kohl's card and they did it just to sync their corporate hands on another patron with good credit! I was just so appalled once they start the process of course they can't stop it, I already got a hard hit on my credit it's been 2 years now and finally that hard hits coming off it just infuriated me! no respect for It's...

The parking on the left side of the building is almost useless since the doors are always locked with a sign saying to go to the opposite doors. This was extremely frustrating since I used the handicapped parking space. I went this particular time to return something from Amazon. There are typically quite a few people waiting to get in when they open. A lady cut in front of me to get to the return first. Luckily there was an extremely nice lady working the Amazon return and saw what happened and helped me first. When my wife and I shopped here in the past, it was well kept, and stocked, with a lot of good deals. Prices have risen in the world and unfortunately the quality deals Kohl’s once had are diminishing. The staff wasn’t very pleasant so my family stopped shopping at this location. The parking lot is pot hole hell and it feels as though this location has just been ignored for any upgrades other stores have gone through. I have 2 stars because of the courteous lady at the Amazon return. I would stay away from this location and go to another Kohl’s for returns and shopping. But if you do go here, park on the Lennon Road side as those are the doors...

I'm glad I get to share on here. I found money in the parking lot and need to know if the manager that handled it really did everything to make sure the person got it back. I suggested to page the name on the envelope because she might be in the store. My mom and I were there 2 hours and never heard the woman's name being paged. As we were leaving I went back to the person whom I gave the money to and told her we never heard the page. She said the manager that the money was given to has went home and no,...there was no page. My response was, "Well please tell her or him that it's to bad that they couldn't go a little above and beyond to get the money to the rightful owner so... here's my attempt one more time. Around 4 ish today I found an envelope in the parking lot of Kohl's on Lennon Rd. The writing on it said popcorn money and it has a name on it. My thinking is the money is from popcorn sales for a fundraiser. I don't think I should put the name on here but if you or someone you know has lost the popcorn money it is at the store.
