I walked in with no intentions of buying my wedding band this day, just to get an idea, but I wasn't able to pass up a great sale. Bernie, our sales rep, was INCREDIBLE. He showed me tons of options, including ones that I wouldn't have even thought to look at myself, and one of them ended up being PERFECT and we ended up taking advantage of the sale that day and leaving with a ring. We actually left with more than we expected, because when my fiancé asked Bernie why the band of my engagement ring was "tarnishing" he explained what was going on and since I have the lifetime warranty, got it quickly into their little on-site repair shop to put a new coating on it. Originally he said it would take 2 days, so we were going to decline since we didn't want to drive back to pick it up from Harrison, but he pulled some strings and got it moved up to be done within the hour. We really appreciated it. ALSO - we had an issue where my engagement ring wasn't showing up in my online "jewelry box", so he spent nearly an hour trying to figure out where it was. Turns out it had been rung up as a cash transaction instead of card, and we'd never realized. He got us all sorted and we were very appreciative to have met him!...
Read moreI want to say something about an employee who goes over and beyond helping his customers. I have been a faithful customer to the gentleman named, Bernie from Kay’s. I have bought all my jewelry from him since the 90’s when he was at Roger’s. He is so sweet and so helpful. He has the biggest clientele simply because he doesn’t treat you like just a customer, he treats you like family. I have lots of friends who feel the same way. We all have followed him to Kay’s when the other company went out of business. He gives you the best customer service experience when you’re there and goes over and beyond what most people do. Now my children are getting married and buy from him as well. Thank you, Bernie for helping my kids and being a part of their special days. Your customer service skills are impeccable and that’s why we keep coming back! However, since they just fired you, I would never shop there again! However, she left but introduced me to her friend, Jamie Kathman I have been working with Jamie for a long time now and I will say this, she makes her customers feel like they are the most important people in the store. Jamie takes her time, discusses different options and most importantly, doesn't pressure the purchase. She doesn't want you to regret visiting the store, always making sure you are satisfied 100%. Not only has she assisted me with purchases for my wife but also my daughter.
