This T.J. Maxx store is larger than most I have visited over the past 15 years or so. I have been in other larger T.J. Maxx stores (particularly in Dallas and Houston). These other large stores were, I think that the word "junky" is the most descriptive word I can use to convey the overall lack of order and neatness, and in some departments, downright chaos - Shelves falling or already on the ground, partially blocking the aisle; and merchandise in no particular order, grouping, and merchandise from several other departments mixed in. The array of merchandise was so mish-mash and in such a jumble that I could not even attempt to wade through these "piles." This T.J. Maxx in Florence, Kentucky (just 10-15 minutes from Downtown Cincinnati) maintains order and the shopping is a pleasure - exactly what I have come to expect from this company, and its many dedicated employees. Even the day AFTER Christmas, the whirlwind that I am certain swept through this store, and every store in the land, had been tamed, employees were working diligently to not just restock, but also clean the display units. This is a world-class shopping emporium. I always spend at least an hour in this store, and always "spend" more than I anticipated. So, thank you to this T.J. Maxx, and its employees for the wonderful shopping experience that IS...
Read moreT.J. Maxx was recommended to me for yoga clothes, so I decided to stop by even though I rarely have had good luck with them in the past. The store was quite large and its departments well-labeled, though some departments were messed up (swimwear in the athletic section, for example). The selections were picked through and often barren. I saw some quality clothes and recognizable brands, but found absolutely nothing I wanted in my sizes, which were particularly picked through (sizes small in tops, medium in bottoms). I found nothing for me but my husband did pick out a yoga mat from a surprisingly decent athletic gear section (it had yoga socks, mats, blocks, massagers, exercise grip gloves, foam rollers, etc.). Overall a disappointing visit, but interesting enough that I might stop by every once in a while to check...
Read moreI love how much selection is in this store. The prices can't be beat with the designer clothes they have here. I spent well over 3 hours in this store because there was so much to look at. It was like a treasure trove! I left very happy finding everything I needed and wanted. I also loved the fact that I was only bothered twice to see if I needed anything. I like to focus when I'm shopping so I was happy to shop fully in peace. The beauty section is normally a wreck but that is always because of the customers. I saw how hard the employees were working just to keep things organized and clean. It's a bit tight and I hope one day they make the store bigger because it's hard to navigate...
