Gold Star — Restaurant in Florence

Oh. This was a disappointment. One employee was eating and serving and eating without washing and then took the dirty dish back to where the foodbwas getting prepped and continued to eat. There was some issue with staffing and the people left were not happy and they seemed to all be dragged down by one of them who was the most vocal in being upset. She actually locked the front door so no one else could come in. We watched food get made and set out for brining to tables then it sat there while the complaining went on. All employees disappeared to the back room for about 3 minutes and the foul language coming from back there was upsetting. We saw our dishes set on the counter for 5 min before it was brought to us. The salad was OK but grissly and the chicken was waxy textured. Nothing was great and made us feel we had to be back again. Then when we left we gave a coupon for the cheese cony to the cashier and she took it but did not remove the price of the coney from the bill. Maybe we will try another location.......

This was a frustrating experience. We ordered several items: cheese fries, chili cheese sandwich, 2 drinks, a spaghetti with cheese and a 3-way through the drive-thru. After getting home, we found that our spaghetti and 3-way were missing the cheese. When I called, both the employee and manager stated they'd give me a credit...for the cheese only. The manager insisted my order was correct as he had made it himself. Personally, I don't feel like picking up 2 bags of cheese on a later date was the appropriate offer to correct this. I did not ask for my full order to be replaced, only the 2 items that were not received as ordered. This manager's credit was the equivalent of ordering a burger with tomatoes, not having tomato on it and offering a customer to come pick up a couple slices of tomato later. Completely...

Didn't get cheese with my 4 way. One 4-way, 5 coneys were $23+, and you didn't get it right. Bought the food at the drive thru, drove 20 minutes home, gave my gal the Gold star 4-way she's been craving for a week and no cheese. Of course I could've made a 30 mile round trip and burned 40 minutes driving plus 10 minutes waiting in line and getting my cheese....that's another $5 or $6 in gas, plus the cost of my time, then getting home to an ice cold dinner... I spent my hard earned cash there just to find you can't put together your standard menu items correctly... Don't think I'll risk going to your place again. Izzy's is next to you. Skyline is half mile from you. Lots of other places on Mall Road, Ky18, and US42. But $23 for hotdogs with chili, and spaghetti with chili, and a disappointed...
