Goodwill Store and Donation Center — Local services in Florissant

I spend alot of money in this store and the manager and employees are giving me dirty looks and made smart comments about me shopping in there often. She proceeded to ask me what was I doing in there? And then lied when confronted about it. . I will not be going back in there. The manager was super nice to the Caucasian women but treated me badly. When I addressed my concerns she proceeded to argue with me in front of other customers. Never apologized for my feelings. Or provided any empathy or solution just poor customer service skills all around . it's clearly jealousy towards me from other Black people. I feel like I'm being racially profiled by other Black people who probably can't afford to shop as often as I do and are envious. They have a rude attitude towards me and poor customer service. I always pay for my items. I do not shoplift, disrupt and always talk to other customers. I even did a good deed once. I do not deserve this treatment. . How do you sell items that was donated to you for free and treat customers poorly? I told them they aren't Nordstrom, Target, or any high end brand. This was one of the worst experiences I've had shopping. I have never been treated so poorly especially by people who look like me. I will never return back to this location clearly they talk about and treat certain customers poorly and I don't respect that. You are bullying your customers who pay your bills and otherwise keep the company that has you employed in business. Without us, you have no business. This goodwill is HORRIBLE ‼️ They have dollar tree items all the time for $4/5. Every thing is always price so high. You can buy things from eBay cheaper and sometimes you can buy fun the retail stores cheaper than shopping here. Yesterday was my last time I can in the store and I'll meet return. Me and my son found a Hotwheels truck for $2.69 I waited in line for at least 10 minutes. The only lady working the counter had to keep going on the back room to ask questions like it was here first day or something. So when I finally get to the counter with the Hotwheels truck it has a blue tag. This week blue tags are 25% off so I had mention that to her so she said she will have to see and she proceeded to walk to the back room to ask I guess her boss which there is signs all over the store that says blue tag is 25% off she came out and told me that this truck is not 25% off and it does not even have the right tag and that she needs to charge me $10.99 for it. I proceeded to ask her why the price has to be changed to so high and you should honor the price tag that is on it because you could go back and look on your cameras I personally did not swap any tag when I proceeded to tell her that she was very rude and told me maybe I shouldn't come back in the store so I proceeded to leave and I'll never come back. I did not get the lady's name but it was 4 in the afternoon when I was in there so whatever lady was working at the counter is very rude and she should not...

You can literally view the financial statement for the company online for free. Goodwill is massively profitable and exactly 0 of the other stores are gouging customers like this location.

This is a poor attempt to raise profits, while it’s actually decreasing sales. I walked out with buying several items.

It’s pretty simple to understand you need customers to buy as many products per trip as possible.

It’s silly to say the least.

Talking about costa rising but Goodwill owns their own buildings look at the financial statement.

The company overall is massively profitable, if you don’t believe me listen to the radio or TV ads that run every five minutes, those aren’t free.

This location really needs an overhaul in their pricing structure and possibly their management.

The store is good it’s the pricing/mgmt that is ridiculous and out of proportion to the rest of the comparable stores in basically all of the metro area.
