Pure Salon — where do I even start?! I worked with Sam for my hair and Brynn for my makeup for my wedding, and they were both incredible.

To back it up a bit, I had originally done a trial at another salon and honestly wasn’t thrilled with the results. Then my stepmom mentioned Pure Salon (even though she’d only ever bought Aveda products there and never actually had her hair done), and when I found out they had availability so close to my wedding, I decided to just go for it. And wow — best decision ever.

From my very first appointment, Sam was so kind, welcoming, and really listened to what I wanted. She completely transformed my hair — made it the perfect blonde I’d been hoping for. Later, I decided to get K-tip extensions for more volume for my half-up, half-down wedding hairstyle, and Sam did the color match and install perfectly. If you’re on the fence about getting extensions, trust me — do it! They look amazing and feel so natural.

Brynn did my makeup, and she is seriously so talented. My makeup trial went perfectly, and on the wedding day, she totally nailed it again. She really knows her stuff and uses all high-quality products — you can’t go wrong getting your makeup done here.

A couple days before the wedding, I went back in for a quick root touch-up so everything would look perfect, and it did. On the big day, we all got ready at the salon — me, my bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother-in-law. Sam, Brynn, and two other stylists worked their magic on all of us, and everyone looked absolutely beautiful.

I have been here a couple times. The first time was a disaster because I spent all day here after I was very clear about what I wanted & the The person working on my hair was not very knowledgeable, the manager had to step in eventually after several hours of bleaching with a very low volume on dark hair that didn't work. That day I spent all day there almost open to close... The final result was very pretty.

The second time I went there and asked for just face frame highlights. Having dark hair and having been there before I had the salon manager work on my hair thinking that this time would be perfectly fine; however this was not the case. My hair in the front was the color of orange straw it looked AWFUL (I wore a hat the entire week!). and on top of that the salon manager was perfectly OK to have me leave the salon after I told her I was not OK with this... due to this awful tragedy I had to go back a week later because apparently she didn't have enough time to fix the mess that she made. I would never go back to the salon even if my hair was to be done for free. The hassle of having to go back and dealing with sorry attitudes was a dealbreaker for me. A. Week later when I had to go back, I asked the salon manager why the hair was processed differently than it was the first time if they were trying to achieve the same result she rudely said to me that I needed to use a harsher colorline on my hair. All she had to do was repeat the same process on my hair using heat that she did the first time which this time she had claimed that the salon does not use that method and I'm thinking to myself well you did the first time and looked wonderful.

I would give this salon 2 stars due to the simple fact that it is overpriced for such basic service any average salon...

Hair and makeup is a HUGE part of your wedding day and something that every bride doesn't take lightly. Well I can tell you that Salon Pure nailed it, making me feel like the most beautiful bride with both my hair and makeup. I was honored to have Lauren do both my trial and day of services and she is delightful! She really knows the in's and out's of the beauty industry and took her time to ensure my makeup/hair was perfect. Not only was she skilled at her job, but she has a wonderful, down to earth personality that fit right in with my bridal party. We also had Sam assist with the bridal party hair/makeup which she also did a beautiful job on. The two girls showed care and passion when completing our looks and didn't hesitate to fix something if the bridesmaids asked of it. One of my bridesmaids decided she wanted her hair changed after already being done and Sam and Lauren were quick to make the time to help. Salon Pure quickly answered all my questions through the messenger on the knot and even accommodated my bump of time. One thing I must say is that they are very timely. I was nervous we would be pushing the clock as most weddings I have been in, but they finished with an hour left. It was such a huge sigh of relief and allowed me to relax and have some fun with my bridesmaids prior to going off to the venue. Thank you Salon Pure for a stress free wedding day!
