I just wanna start by saying I’m extremely disappointed in the gaming products offered. The quality control measures that the cashier assured me were being taken, couldn’t have been taken. I live in Tuscaloosa. I have come to this store multiple times when I vacation in Orange Beach, I take the trip over because I loved the vibe and products offered. A “nerd’s” paradise. I saw a bunch of Wii sports for sale at a competitive price (when compared to other brick and mortar stores) I could have ordered on eBay got cheaper and been covered by PayPal guarantee. But I wanna it now even though I was 4 hours away from home, I trusted Play and Talk to sale a quality product. I bought Wii sports for 44.99 USD around 49.54 USD after tax. So $50 USD for a used copy of Wii sports which is surprisingly hard to come by, I have 3 wiis I know. I asked the cashier what’s the return policy, she said “oh you have 7 days, and we test and resurface all our disks so you should be good”. I thought okay good that’s plenty. And worse case I can get my money back. So I purchased April 30th. I just arrived home May 3rd unpacked and then go to play Wii sports. First wii won’t even read it. Second and Third Wii through the message pictured. I throw in Wii play in all three and works. I know the consoles are good as I wouldn’t have spent $50 USD with 3 bad Wiis. The disk is scratched I can only presume from the resurfacing (see picture) Now that I’m back in Tuscaloosa (I admit that not seeing a posted return policy or even asking for a complete return policy before my purchase, is totally my fault and a complete lack of consumer awareness) I read the receipt, as I wonder is it worth it to drive 4hrs for my $50 dollars, I see it says “Used games are refundable up to 7 days for STORE CREDIT only” Now it’s definitely not worth it an 8hr round trip to get $50 but $50 store credit is even worse. I DIDN'T BOTHER CONTACTING STORE BECAUSE AN EXCHANGE WOULDN'T DO, I CANT TRUST THE PRODUCT. I PAID CASH, I’M 4HRS HOURS AWAY, WHAT COULD BE DONE, I mean it’s $50 which is something but not worth 8hrs of me time over a video game which was supposed to help me relax. I’ve lost $50 USD but anyone reading this doesn’t have to. They may sell quality products. I’ve never had trouble before BUT IVE NEVER BOUGHT ANY GAMING PRODUCTS (CONSOLES OR GAMES) but I can’t trust that you do, even if I was offered store credit my first experience WITH THE GAMES was very off putting. I mean just do better these are hard earned wages, I worked hard and I feel my wages should be appreciated more than the less than satisfactory product I was offered that day. YOU SHOULDN’T HAVE ANY DOUBTS WHEN YOU PATRONIZE A COMPANY. YOU LET ME DOWN PLAY AND TALK. Do better, and anyone reading this buy the games or don’t, I’m not persuading or telling you otherwise but at least consider my scenario before you purchase especially if you are...

I really enjoyed visiting this store. I collect games. But beware of the used game section. The game says “CIB” (complete in box) on the sell sticker, but they used reprinted game art for the box. So it appears to be the original case and game art but it is not. CIB means it’s the original case and art. You are not getting the original game art and case for the game and they do not tell you. Also they charge well beyond a used game price for it not to be coming with the original box. So it seems to me they are tricking people into thinking they are getting the original when they are not. That does not seem ethical. Make it clear it is not the original box and art and that you reprinted it. That affects resale value for the customer and you are not telling them. Not every game was like this but I saw several pokemon switch games like this, and that affects resale value greatly. I know, I collect games. You’re talking a $20 value difference for a pokemon game without the original box. And they are selling them for well beyond the correct price without the original case and art. Someone like me will notice the difference but others are overpaying for what they think is original case and art but it is not. Have integrity and be a good person. It’s fine to reprint the game case art yourself but you must make that clear on your product label that it is not original case and art, and you cannot charge original game case and art price. That’s literally stealing. Saying that is “complete in box” is deceptive, because that means “original case and art” complete in box, and you are not selling that. And they know what “CIB” means. It’s a term we use in the video game community all the time when buying and selling. They know what they’re doing. Please be better and make this clear, or honestly, I can’t...

This place has become absolutely horrible now I wasn’t treated nicely at all the employees simply walk in a circle following people someone was looking at me with absolutely cold eyes like did something horrible, their figures are a complete jumble mess, disorganized knock over characters are mixed in together from different shows and characters from the same show are put on different sides of the display case so I have to keep swapping back and forth to see them and are over priced for poor quality figures their Funko area has shrunk because “they’re not popular” they’re also over priced, the Gundams selection is poor and few apparently you’re not a loud to talk about certain subjects in the store despite them selling products based on those subjects such as fan service in anime even though they sell that stuff and there always seems to be new employees in here every time I come now not to mention no one here knows anything about what they are working with I felt like I had to explain everything about their own products makes me wonder why and their trade values aren’t worth it I’d rather take my chances with GameStop so really this place is no different than GameStop or hot topic even the music they played isn’t good where’s the SpongeBob music the classic Nintendo soundtrack, anime intros I’m mean this place was fantastic a year ago but now it’s like a bunch of snowflakes run it now I don’t think this place is...
