Hobby Lobby — Local services in Fond du Lac

Nice store but their new advertising is garbage. If you are running a 50% off sale, do NOT put 50% off signs by items you are then going to say are not 50% off... I went in and found some wall decor for my daughters room. The 50%off sign was by those items and described those items but, when I got to the counter, the lady wanted to get rude and argue with me when I noticed they didn't ring up on sale. She said because the tags said "your price" on them, that they weren't on sale. So I didn't buy them. I said that must be something new and then she wanted to argue about that as well and tell me it was not. And I said well that's funny because I moved from another state where I went to hobby lobby alot and they didn't have that... So if you are going to have items that are "your price", then they should be an entirely different area of the store with no 50% off signage...

They have many original different types, colors or whatever. But the quality is walmart quality at best. But me and others I have spoken with have been profiled by management/ workers . Why? Cause I ride a bike and use a backpack, along with the same as them as far as we can figure. We have complained numerous times on separate occasions to different people. That's what they pay her for! To profile customers. Wonder how they profile black or Latino people. I'm poor I'm not evil or bad. And I care about the environment that's why I ride a bike and carry bags or whatever. But a 44 yr old shouldn't be harassed every time I go in. I refuse to buy anything there from now on. Prejudice is hobby lobbys go to crime prevention. So go and enjoy the 1950 Jim crow laws...

The Fond du Lac Hobby Lobby store has some really great workers. Penny assisted me with a wheelchair (which the store provides--unlike our Target store!), and offered help within the store; Rachel was a tremendous help in the fabric department, and went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed. Another employee whose name I can't recall, helped me search the store for an item I had seen on the store website, but couldn't locate in the store. He stayed with me until we located it, and was cheerful and apogetic about the whole thing. I am highly pleased with this Hobby...
