Valvoline Instant Oil Change — Local services in Fond du Lac

Everyone at this location was so friendly, happy, welcoming and personable. I stopped to get my oil changed and during the inspection, it was discovered that my air filter was a bit dirty and I needed to have an air filter change with my oil but, they were out of stock of my type filter. I said, I would have to get one after and have it changed later, but instead, one of the employees called the closest auto parts store, just down the road, to see if they had one and they did. This employee says, he'd be right back, he bolts out the door to the auto store to get me an air filter. He came back about 10 minutes later with an air filter for my car!! Now THAT'S what you call dedication to helping us keep our automobiles running great! I couldn't believe how quick they changed my oil, topped off all my fluids, checked my tire pressure, got me an air filter AND replaced it. The service here is outstanding. The pricing is affordable and I was totally impressed by the awesome level of customer care this garage shows their customers. I was also totally impressed that I had a female employee working on my car and then to find out, she was part of the management team to boot!! This garage is immaculately clean. All the employees wore a uniform, which were also clean, there were no oil spills or garbage on the floor. The employees all got along like best friends and worked together productively and efficiently. Thank you doesn't seem to be enough to say to these folks. I would not recommend. My mother was just there to have an oil change, tire pressures checked, filter and fluids as they advertise they do. Unfortunately it goes down from here… The air filter was not checked since the “mechanic” did not know how to access it which it’s not rocked science, but it gets better after she drove up the drove her TPMS light came on where she then turned right back around. Once back they told her there was no way they broke it and she must have hit a curb…even though the vehicle was just serviced there 5 minutes prior. They weren’t going to assist with putting her spare on where then I drove 1.5 hours to this location to assist her. When there I walked up to try and get more information on what happened where one of the “mechanics” was very rude. The on duty manager “Emily” when came up and proceeded to not be much help was also very unprofessional. She openly admitted she was not on site when it happened but would be defending her guys….. when I asked for the district managers information all I could get was a name as well as would not give me the corporate office number…. Emily also told us it is okay to drive around on a flat tire as she has done it and it doesn’t affect the tire… you can clearly see the side wall is destroyed and by no means drivable or safe. Idk what kind of people you put in charge of at this location but you may be able to get away with lying to hide your mess up with other customers but not me! The oil change it’s self was quick. However I had no idea that I would stay in the car and they would walk me through everything. The manager Nick came across as a know it all.I explained that I had a regular mechanic and this was a very last minute need. Nick started walking me through everything and it was more of sales pitch. He asked if he could walk me through resetting my “oil change” indicator light. I told him no thank you. He brought it up again and I explained it did it automatically. He told “he had been doing this for 5 years and it most certainly does not” At this point I became very annoyed and told him firmly No. I made it clear I would not be back because of how annoying he was. Nick asked “why because I am just doing my job?” I explained it was because of his lack of customer service skills and If a customer says no then respect that. Also not even 2 miles down the road my “oil change “ indicator went off. Given I know my vehicle and he was wrong about the light it makes me doubt other information I was given. My receipt states “sever oil and transmission leak” my vehicle is parked in the same spot in our driveway or garage and there is no fluid left in either spot. Overall I wouldn’t...
