Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Fond du Lac

Dairy Queen on Johnson street, in Fond Du Lac, WI... I stopped after work to get a blizzard and a burger. I went through the drive through and my order taker was thee most polite and well mannered person I have ever dealt with in a fast food setting. My order was specific, I did not want cheese, I just wanted a plain burger. I was asked if I still wanted the pickle and ketchup, which I did, I'm so glad he asked me and I thanked him for that and he actually said "you're welcome." Many won't understand why this is a big thing to me, but I was raised in a Customer Service family and being polite and mannered is something that has more than died out long ago. I am thrilled if I ever find it in any business, but I have NEVER had anyone in a drive through as kind, caring or mannered as this young man was and I made sure to tell him and thank him for his awesome service at the pick up window. Imagine my surprise when the young man taking money and handing out the orders was just as polite and mannered! I wanted to speak to their manager to tell them how excellent my service was, but there were many cars in line and I was on the way to a Dr appointment. I wish I had thought to get their names to poorest in this review. I will definitely be back to this location, I hope I get the same people again, or some other as awesome as these two were. I have given this location at least 5 times to get my order correct, treat me with respect, be courteous, and they haven't been able to do even one of these things. I've spoken with management a couple times. For example, after one of my daughter's softball games this past summer, we went to this DQ because it was so close by, I ordered a butterscotch dipped ice cream cone. My daughter's both ordered blizzards. My cone wasn't even shaped like a cone. It was a melty like blob and they handed it to me like here ya go as if this is except able. My daughter's both of there blizzards were like liquid. Not exaggerating you could drink them without straw. So I went back threw drive through and they seemed mad that I asked for new items. I was polite because I firmly believe in being as kind as possible to those that make your food! 😉. Management came out to my car and took out bad stuff and said he'd remake them personally. The new ones where far from better! I had to contain my anger at this point I realized it was useless to whine about it. The blizzards where a little more frozen they could use straws at least. And my cone was half the right size but not...

I would give them no stars if possible. Every time I have been here in the last 6 months, they screw up my order and my food is always cold. Tonight I went for ice cream and they made both (one large and one junior) blizzards the wrong flavor so I told them what the correct flavors were and they said they would remake them and I thought they did. Then I arrived home and gave the large to my husband only to find out that they scooped the top portion of the blizzard out and added the correct flavor to the top only! I did call and was told to bring back the large and they would remake it along with another large for compensation. So I drive back across town and the manager tells me he told me he would give me two if I brought both back. I had ate the junior on the way home (they must have added the correct flavor and mixed it up...which was fine).
