On January 24, I ordered a philly cheesesteak. It arrived with the cheese stuck to the paper and no au jus, even though it was listed on the receipt. I called, and they happily remade the sandwich—but it still came with the cheese stuck to the paper. No big deal, but this will make more sense later in my rant.
On February 7, I ordered their house special French onion sandwich, which the menu said came with au jus. They didn’t send it, so I called to ask what was supposed to come with the sandwich. They told me it includes the sandwich and au jus. I let them know it was missing and just left it at that.
On February 28, we placed a group order at work. After they charged my card, I noticed the total didn’t match the printed online menu prices. I called to ask why, and they told me they had changed their menu prices but hadn’t updated the online menu yet. They fixed the charge, but when the food arrived, it was missing the au jus for the philly cheesesteak, two marinara sauces for the mozzarella sticks, and veggies and ranch for the wings.
I called to talk to them, but they were too busy—and so was I. Today, when we placed another work order, I called to follow up and spoke to someone about the issues. He said he would send my sandwich on the house. After the order was placed, the person who picked it up told me they didn’t include my sandwich, and that he paid for it. So I called again to figure out what was going on.
After being passed around to three different people—the first two saying they’d fix it—the last person (who said she was the owner’s wife) told me, “We can’t keep sending you philly cheesesteaks every time we mess up.”
I didn’t have time to argue because I was working, but on every break I tried calling back, and they kept telling me they were too busy and to call later.
So, this is my final message to whoever is running the place—you know who I am.
I appreciate the good food and the past five years of ordering from you. But sadly, I’m personally done with the runaround, and with being made to feel like I’m doing something wrong when all I want is my food done right. I have no problem paying more—but at this point, the mistakes have become a...
Read moreHeard about this place while discussing places near Oshkosh that are worth a short drive. Someone had seen I recently went to Fond du Lac and asked if I was the one that told them about 11:11. It was not me but then they said, I needed to check it out. So stopped by on the way to Milwaukee.
Food- We got a PB and J burger and a Breakfast Burger. These burgers were fantastic! The meat was juicy with a lot of flavor. The buns were soft and the perfect complement to the burgers. The burgers were great with what they came on. They also have build your own burgers and non burger options. The fries are fantastic and you get sooooo much. A small can cover two people. The beignets were damn near perfect. You can get them with powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar, or both. Then you get your choice of dipping sauce. They also give you a bunch of them. After the burgers and fries we couldnt even finish the beignets.
Drinks- They have Pepsi fountain drinks with unlimited refills and then a few other selections for canned sodas. No booze.
Service- Service was great. We came around 5PM on Friday and no one was in the place yet so the register worker was able to explain the menu to us. Food came out fast and the entire staff I interacted with was friendly.
This is one of the best burgers in the area. Worth the drive from the Fox Cities or Oshkosh. Also, each day they have some sort of special. Friday is double stamp day! I cant wait to go back and stuff my face with another one of their...
Read moreHOLY SMOKES was this place ON POINT! Drove up to FDL from MKE to buy a truck and had to grab food before coming home. A google search indicated this establishment nearby. 11:11 happens to "special" number to me (and I saw on the sign by the bathroom the owner as well). My husband & I took this as a "sign" and headed directly there. The staff was friendly & helpful. The individual at the register explained the order of operations since we werent sure if there was wait staff, and outlined their special. We found a highly appetizing menu selection which can be a disaster with my indecisiveness, but the instant I saw "crusted cheddar" I knew what I wanted. The husband chose a Baconeater and neither of us were disappointed. JUICY burgers with a quality soft bun. The crusted cheddar made a crispy skirt around my patty and I enjoyed an abnornally large portion. I rarely finish a burger over 4oz. I could have gotten a "little" and been satisfied. It did leave 2oz for my husband to polish off and agree it was delicious - like the burger he selected. The natural cut fries were outstanding (similar to Five Guys if you need a chain to compare to). Shakes had a runnier consistency than I prefer. We'll definitely be back but go with an alcoholic beverage from the...
