As I was pulling into the parking lot an employee yelled something but I couldn’t hear what they were saying considering that I am half deaf and I was not sure if it was directed towards me. As I entered the restaurant the crew informed me that they were closed and would open in 20 minutes. They were polite as I left. When I was halfway to my vehicle the same employee shouted at me again (and yes this time I heard her) she said “I know you heard me.” I looked at her confused as she looked at me like I was stupid. After leaving five guys I put together that she must have yelled at me that they were closed when I pulled in. Before joining the Military I was a manager at a fast food joint for 5 years. Read moreI want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the Five Guys restaurant on Forest Drive. I went in one day and shared with the person at the register that my child has a nut allergy but I wanted to purchase a burger so immediately they started preparing a fresh new space for her order away from others. They even placed it in a separate bag! I told the whole entire staff how grateful I was because you cannot find too many places that will go the extra mile for people with food allergies. This type of customer service should not go unnoticed, we should give those a pat on the back or a high five when they go above and beyond for their customers. More people in service should treat their customers like their own family!! Kudos to the whole entire staff at the FOREST DRIVE LOCATION!! Take a bow, you deserve to be noticed.

Read moreLike I always tell people, Five Guys is the Chickfila of burgers. I've been to every one of their restaurants in the Columbia area & this is one of my faves. The staff is always friendly, the service is always quick (considering that you're ordering a fresh made burger and/or fries), & of course the food is always good. I've yet to have an order messed up at this location. The interior of the restaurant is always clean, as are the bathrooms. Plus, the employees go out of their way to make sure everything is to your satisfaction. You can't ask for more. I know a common complaint about Five Guys is the pricing, but considering how much food you get (the regular fry is enough to feed 2 if not 3 people, they don't charge extra for toppings, etc.), I find the pricing to be more than reasonable.
