Piggly Wiggly is a historic institution that started shelving groceries for self pickup off the shelves. Before that you had to ask the grocer for the items you wanted and this set the trend for how we shop in grocery stores today.
I had to drive willingly and thankfully to get their fresh produce and butcher cut meats because we lost our wonderful Piggly Wiggly in Conyers. They replaced it with another Dollar Store like we need another one in this dollar store saturated area. But real food is hard to find and high prices are what you get when you do shop because our PW is gone. They had the best of everything with prices that kept food on your table. I miss our PW more than words can express.
Please comeback to Conyers! There is an open space in our plaza not far from my house that would make a fine Piggly Wiggly that our community would patronize fully. Check out Sigman and Milstead Plaza where the old Freds use to be. Please we need you here!!!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm never shopping in the store again. I used to work right beside here and comment all the time and every time it was the same thing. They follow you around the whole store the whole time I saw a guy running to catch up with me just to see what I was doing I literally had my wallet in my pocket and my keys no jacket no nothing just me. It didn't matter where I went in the store they were right there behind me when I turned around the lady tried to look like she wasn't looking that at me but it's so weird how people look crazy when you catch them doing something they have no business doing. I asked the guy at the register when I checked out about it why they do that and he just told me do you like having this grocery store with a attitude. If you don't want us to shop here don't open stores in our community. I refuse to be treated like a second class citizen I'm American...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreExpensive. Very expensive. They price gouge the food. Because people like me can't get to Kroger or Walmart. Have to ride the bus to get cheaper prices. All the work it takes to get food on bus. We have to spend $5 dollars on bus ride. But you can only buy a few days worth. Then have to go again. It is easier to walk to Piggly Wiggly. But they make it so expensive. They make money off of our food stamps. That takes food out of our mouth. And come up short at end of the month. If you can't price gouge on gasoline. Why can they do it on our food stamps. The law needs to step in. Do rich people go to Piggly Wiggly. I don't think so. Maybe a fast trip for some butter. But not buy for the week. If they do. And can drive anywhere they want. They miss spend in other areas. So they want...
