TAQUERIA DON SIGE #2 — Restaurant in Forest Park

I added some salt to my broth and it was way better. My cousin is allergic to peanuts and she's having some type of reaction to the food here (she had beef birria tacos, onion, cilantro) I called in to place my order they said it will take 20 minutes for 9 birria tacos and 1 side of beans and rice. I arrived to pick up and pay for my order about 10-15 minutes after i called. Unfortunately, I waited an additional 20-30 minutes inside while they gave food to people at the drive thru, and a few others who placed their order after me( I called ahead to SAVE time so it should have been ready around 10 minutes after my arrival). So overall, calling to place an order took me much longer than going to the drive thru would have. Also, no military/veteran discounts. FOOD IS FRESH. Service is very slow and inconsistent. Come here if you have an hour to spend on tacos, quesadillas, nachos and other side dishes. The drinks looked nice. Perhaps if they would have offered one of those to me for free after making me sit in there so long I would have felt better about the service....

(3 stars edited to 1 star due to owner response) I only saw the no refunds or exchanges sign and I did ask the 2 employees that we there for my order as I sat right by the pick up area I would ask IS THAT ONE MINE? They checked and made sure everything was there and apologized for my wait. No manager was needed however my review is for other people to know she had an itchy throat and is allergic to nuts incluing peanut oil which could have been used, and I am not assuming it was. Nor am I asking, I am only stating what happened because my experience DID HAPPEN. Manager responses should be more professional and apologetic. Living with a powerful addiction to street tacos for most of my 34 years of life on this Earth, I have eaten my fair share of them from countless establishments. This is the first time that I found myself unable to wait until finishing my meal before feeling compelled to jump on Google and try to put into words how superb these tacos are.

Y'all...I think these have just become my new "10" against which I rate all other tacos. Not only are they authentic as they come, but they are dangerously delicious. I just finished murdering my to-go order of three (one chorizo, one asada, one adobada) and am strongly considering jumping back in my car and beelining to this place again right now. Not too many meals have gotten me to lick a styrofoam to-go plate. This one joins the few and the proud. No shame in my game, people.

The chorizo even had that golden ratio of crispiness to meatiness that I strive for when I prepare Chorizo at home. And the salsas, both red and green, don't complement the food - they flatter it!

There is only one thing that is bad about this place, and that is that I am only in the area on a temporary work assignment and live nowhere near this establishment! Maybe it's time to...

First off I wws skeptical but I went through cause I had a craving! So first off no seasoning which i read in the review so I asked the lady if they could put more in my food. She said no we can give you salt packages im like ok i guess i only got three for 6 tacos and and a quesadilla.Ohhh and the cheese was runny no flavor the grease trap birria dip gauc was bland too! Long story longer i tipped 2 and this hefa changed it to 12!! She lucky it was my Kemp card which was a blessing for me anyway maybe she needed it more. If it was my bank bank baby i woulda had the whole nasty meal free! But fr what if I was broke and it ovedrawn my acct without my knowledge. Yall play too fu kin much specially when it comes to black folks we get treated differently over there that area is predominantly Hispanic anyway. Regardless don't waste ya gas ya money or time on this establishment . I shoulda went with my gut. Cuz my hut was...
