Purchased an Amp that was melted at the power hookup which we didn't notice until I took it to be installed. Instead of installing it, I took it back to exchange it. The owner traded it out with one that doesn't work at all. Lopplemans tested it for me. I also bought a Bose Bluetooth Soundbox which only charges a quarter of the way and has to be plugged into a power source at all times to play more than 2 songs. When I questioned the boy selling it, he said it was fine and had minimal charge because they had been using it often there in the shop. When I came back and told them I was disappointed, the boy got an attitude and said I should have checked it before I left the shop with it and that he told his boss that I melted the Amp. When in fact no wires were ever connected to it while it was in my possession. He probably sold it to his boss like that and I was his scapegoat. Think about it, He sold me the Bose with the POWER problem. Needless to say, they lost a good customer and my money. I just went to Lopplemans yesterday and purchased a Pioneer Receiver to hook up surround sound and and Amp hooked up to two Pioneer 12s. Lopplemans hooked everything up in front of me and showed me that everything works before I left the shop! 5 STARS...

I bought my Fiance a ring from them back when they were in Wyndhurst area. Now I live in Forest and took a few Electronics just to get a loan and see if they'd work with me. The customer service was awesome to be a quote unquote pawn shop. Some people look down on these people saying they're just there waiting for the desparate to come or the addicts who steal. Look, we all make our choices. I'm glad I made my choice to deal with them. They were straight with me, gave me my grace period (my stuff wasn't even there a week) and Christina, Thomas and Whitney all balance eachother out if you watch them work like I did those days. They're good people, making a living just like you and me. Don't judge how, it's legal and you don't hear people saying bad things about gun shows which are the epitome of pawn and sell. Thanks for the business you all and I will be returning I am sure of it. You impressed me and were extremely classy. No Stickers on your electronics saying it was pawned on such and such date that you have to peel off until you damage the item. Everything was together neatly and they were so polite. Prices are not as advertised. There was a generator advertised on Craigslist by this company that was listed for $400 in the ad title and had $399.99 listed as the price in the item description. I called to purchase the generator, and spoke to a lady named Whitney. She collected my information, confirmed the price and that the generator ran properly, and told me they were having an issue with their credit card machine and would call me back. The owner called me and told me that he actually wanted the generator himself, and that the price was actually $900. I guess that's what happens when you're a sleezy pawn shop owner. I will not be spending any money here, and I would advise anyone else to shop somewhere else with more honest owners.

Update over 4 years after posting my initial review: The owner finally replied to the review! Exactly the type of stellar customer service you can expect from this place!
