Subway — Restaurant in Virginia

My wife and I came in today to grab a quick dinner. We both ordered toasted sandwiches and when we sat down to eat, they were both still completely cold. The cheese hadn’t even begun to melt.

I took one sandwich up to the three guys who were on shift, who did initially apologize and blamed it on the oven. Instead of making us new sandwiches, they put them back in the oven, slamming the oven door multiple times. When they took it out again, smoke poured out of the oven to the point where they had to prop the front door open to clean up the air. I’m assuming the paper the sandwich was on was burning, which they then handed back to me.

They proceeded to do the same thing with the second sandwich, as one staff member told the other he should probably stop because of the smoke. He ignored him, continuing to pump smoke into the restaurant.

After getting back both sandwiches (which were still cold, the bread was just now hard), one of the employees apologized for the inconvenience, which prompted the other to mock him, telling him he shouldn’t say sorry to us.

My wife and I were very uncomfortable in the environment overall. As soon as we finished eating our cold sandwiches, we left right away, with all three employees hanging out in the back office laughing and yelling at each other.

For sure won’t be coming...

This has to be hands down the worst Subway in town, and one of the worst Subways I have actually ever been to. If you go in midday for lunch expect to wait anywhere from 8-20 minutes just to get your food, and that’s only assuming 2 maybe 3 people in line. There is never a sense of urgency by the employees. There is an older woman there with gray hair that works on the line, and she couldn’t be any more rude, and I try my absolute best to give people the benefit of the doubt, but I have had so many awful encounters with her specifically. I feel bad for the employees that work there, because it’s always someone new who doesn’t know what they’re doing and I genuinely feel bad for them it’s not their fault. Clearly a high turnover at the store, which to me reflects directly on management. You will find new employees there every couple of weeks and I don’t think they ever take down the now hiring sign, because it’s like a revolving door with young kids. I rarely ever go out of my way to write reviews like this, but this one...

This place has stickers everywhere promoting healthy eating and the power of veggies, yet you ask for xtra black olives at this location and they go crazy and throw a dam fit because some people want more than 10 olives on a footlong.. the workers here are always hateful n rude, i only came because i had to pick up an order for work. I hate this store i recomend people visit either store on timberlake , they have better service an portions and dont give u attitudes while u order. Very un happy with...
