A great place with great staff and great prices!

I've been to several similar pottery places and this one has the nicest employees and best prices by far! Stepping into the store for the first time, I was immediately greeted by a woman and she came over and explained the process. After I begun painting, both women working even checked in with me periodically to see if I needed anything and purchasing my piece afterwards was super simple.

I just went to pick up my piece today (about a week and a half later) and the same woman from my first visit greeted me and instantly went and got my fired piece without me even asking or saying my name! She even commented on my work and wrapped it for me to take home.

My son and his girlfriend were dropped off at this location to make pottery for their Valentine’s Day gifts to each other. Their website and Facebook clearly indicate “walk ins welcome”. I checked their Facebook and website prior to taking them and there was nothing indicating that they were at capacity or that appointments would be required today. I get 10 minutes down the road and my son calls me and informs me not only are they not able to paint today unless they wait hours but they were not allowed to wait inside for me to come back and pick them up. They are now standing outside the building in rain and 33 degree weather. Poor business practice, in events of a location being at max capacity social media...

All Fired Up is such a Forest, VA gem! If you haven’t already been, you simply must! Everything about this store is such a wonderful experience!
