This is my first time in this shop and it's most certainly not my last either.
Regarding video games, they have old school retro stuff (including new stuff) from the NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, Sega Dreamcast, Nintendo GameCube, PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo WiiU, Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Color, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Switch, and probably a few other consoles I'm leaving off.
When it comes to accessories, Games Ahoy does not joke around by any means. There are cool anime and video game posters (plus wall scrolls), cool Pokemon figures, nerdy wallets, keychains, random wires (you may need), controllers, lanyards, plushies, and much more.
If you get thirsty while browsing or hungry, they have some tasty Asian snacks and drinks.
The vibes I got from this place are pretty wholesome and pleasant to say the least. The owner Adam was very down to earth and open minded to suggestions/recommendations. Employee James helped me with buying stuff, to include getting me a cool Demon Slayer wall scroll. Jacob showed me some of the cool games in the document protector binders and Gavin helped with general knowledge about questions I had.

Read moreWitnessed a very displeasing situation yesterday, only to come on here and see the owner lieing about the customers and staff's actions. The customers were offered cash for a refund and when they agreed, gave all the products that needed to be returned along with their receipts they were told to leave that staff will call them in a couple hours to give them their money. The customers then informed the staff that wasn't something they were able to do not being from the area and taking buses. The staff then raised their voices towards the customers along with threatening them with the police. The customers never threw anything or put any other customer in fear or danger. The only ones at who yelled and swore were the staff. While waiting for the police the staff processed half of the refund. When the customers asked for their refund for the games which was only $20, staff refused them and then took their second PlayStation from them refusing to give it back or pay them for it. They were returning two PlayStation's one was paid for and the second was taken from them. Staff refused to give back the second PlayStation until the police informed to do so. Staff was very rude to this couple yelling and swearing at them along with attempting to steal from them. Along with the owner lieing in a respond to the customers review. Read moreHorrible service refusal to process refund when I had my receipt and only purchased products less then 7 days prior. When I questioned the refusal they responded by threatening me with the police. After calling the police they processed half my refund. Again when I questioned why process half my refund, they responded using vulgar language along with high volume. Never been treated like this at Gamestop. Lieing the response is a very low thing to do especially from an owner. I never threw anything or raised my voice. If I threw anything then why wasn't I charged with assault by the offerings that responded? Your staff raised their voices and swore at me. I did later raise my voice by never threatened your staff or even swore at them. Your staff offered cash refund and gave me most of my cash refund. They refunded 150 for a ps3 but refused to process my refund for $20 for two games which they took my receipt and refused to return it along with my second ps3 they attempted to steal from me. The officers had to inform them that they couldn't ask me to leave while your staff refused to return my stuff.
