The Pretty Nomad — Local services in Fort Lauderdale

A little sad to leave this review. Let me preface by saying rules are rules, I understand that. I won a gift card at a charity event for this shop. Followed them immediately online and was so excited to come in person. I drove almost an hour to come, specifically on small business Saturday when I run around and support small shops. Lo and behold, the gift card expired 2 weeks previously. She said she could not honor it. Rules are rules. She does not HAVE to honor it, even at only 2 weeks. This review isn't about free money...What bothered me, and prompted the review, is she asked where I got the gift card, and told me she could not honor it BECAUSE it was charity, and backed it by saying they "do SO much". Again, rules are rules and it's her perogative to not honor a 2 week expired gift card. It IS expired, and I missed it because I i was waiting for a specific day to come and support a small business that's out of my way. Sad that I've been looking forward to going for so long, drove far and out of the way, to leave with a bad taste...

I can’t say enough good things about The Pretty Nomad. The boutique is absolutely beautiful — you walk in and immediately feel like you’ve stepped into something special. They offered me a glass of champagne right away and genuinely made me feel so welcomed.
