If i could give it no stars i would. First off- there is NOT a kitchen in all rooms- as a matter of fact i dont think there are ANY rooms with a kitchen\kitchenette. The room i had that was without was so horrid, i would hate to see how gross this supposed, non-exsistant and- obviously!- falsely advertised "kitchen" would be. I mean im talking rat/rodent droppings, roaches that book across the floor from one corner clean to the next one, obvious mold in shower/whole bathroom, toilet paper so thin your arm gets sore by the time ur done tearing enough off the roll placed (uncomfortably and inconveniently) so far from AND behind the darn toilet u practically have to be a contortionist in Cirque de Soleil just to wipe ur a$$, bed so musty smelling that it makes my grandma's guestroom- that hasnt been used in probably over 25+ years- smell like strawberries and freaking champagne, towels stained with blood and GOD knows what else (and He can go ahead and keep that information to himself because i don't wana know either, thank u dear Lord...), both sink AND shower stopped up, floor in bathroom looked as tho it had been "waxed" with bacon fat mixed with PineSol, neither vending machine OR ice machine worked... Need i go on? TV and fridge and microwave were best part- all brand new and in wonderful working condition. AC on the older side but worked fine and ice cold.. Wifi was awful but electric withheld even thru a storm that had a hurricane warning at first- turned out to just be a tropical storm but winds were definitely high- and lights/lamps kind of old but worked fine with no flickering. Cant cast to TV and no premium channels or movies to rent. Wifi isnt free although advertised as such.. All in all- keep ur money and stay on moms couch if in town to visit ur folks! Dont be proud and end up like i did and get stuck here.. Felt like i was gonna catch Hep-C just walking thru to drop off my luggage. Would not give refund- but why Would they? Thats how they make their...
Read moreCalled ahead for rates, when arrived, the manager took one look at our BMW and increased the rates from $124 to $189, additionally they charged a $5 refundable deposit for the plastic swipe keys, which we could get back when we checked out. I'll bet a box of 100 costs $5. Anyway after an already forehead scrunching start, they would not give us two keys, ugh, whatever! If these rooms were not the only ones we could find, we would not have bothered after the pathetic rate increase. So, We go to the room, you know what.... for $189 we could have bought a tent, a portable air conditioner and an air mattress and it would have been cleaner, more comfortable and would have most likely had less bugs than this place.... Im willing to bet the bed spreads have been on those uncomfortable mattresses since the place was built. They were hideous, stained and smelled of mold and wet dog. We had to spray the room with a deodorizer just to get rid of the foul-smelling air freshener that the cleaning ladies sprayed just before our entrance into the room and then after removing the bedspread and spraying the bed with febreeze we put on our own clean and odor-free blanket. People that operate guest accommodations and don't take pride in their establishments and care only about turn-over, price gouging and increasing profits and not the satisfaction of their guests, should be forced to live in their dumps for one year, unchanged, as punishment. Oh, before, of course, the place is then burned to the ground just to insure that the rest of fort Lauderdale doesn't become infested with their...
Read moreStay away from this place if you're a half way decent person, and or have a family. I am aware of a person who was found deceased in bed of one of their bedrooms. The following day after investigation was conducted and crime scene was closed, we drove by to get an idea of the establishment/event. Much to my amazement, the window shades were open! Curious, I walked up to the room window. 24+ hours after the deceased was removed, in 90+ degree heat, the bloody sheets remained on the bed, I was in shock! Later that day, I returned to see if the room had finally been cleaned of this event. What I saw next will never leave my mind. The sheets had been removed and there was a mattress only on the bed. I quickly realized that after removing the sheets, they discovered blood had bleed through the sheets and onto the mattress... Rather than replacing this mattress, the hotel simply flipped the mattress head/toe. I witnessed the mattress now lying with blood stain at mid to lower body rather than upper body with no sheets at all. This place is disgusting! They offer refuse to individuals struggling in life and turn a blind eye to crimes taking place in plain site. It's ashamed places like this actually exist. This world would be a better place if this strip of real estate was an empty...
