Kelly Brothers Irish Pub — Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale

Kelly's has recently changed owners but the new owners and all of the staff, prior and new, continue to provide the most accommodating and welcoming levels of service.

The current food rating, for now, is due to the fact they are still finding their way with the new chef. The few samples I've been privileged to sample have been delicious. [Cheese burgers.]

Another big plus is they are in the same plaza with Fort Lauderdale's Culture Room, which provides an opportunity to appreciate amazing bands performances live. [Think 80's plus: both New Wave, and other alternative.]

Also, Don't overlook the fact they are the new Fort Lauderdale HQ for Premier Liverpool Football Club. Kelly's has been the Liverpool HQ since the previous "local" retired.

Went for the Thursday night comedy show, which was very good in there performances. However, as a non-beer drinker, I asked the waiter/server/bartender (at the bar) which beer could he recommend, he shrugged his shoulders and continued focusing on other people that I guess knew what they wanted. My friend and I waited at least another half hour before we caught his attention again simply to order food. The food was not good. Possibly a reaction from seeing a German cockroach on the wall right next to the kitchen door. When I addressed the matter with the same waiter/server/bartender, his response was "this is Florida". I will NOT be visiting thus...

Review of Kelly Brothers Irish Pub "Upper-Deck Lounge" on a Thursday night while the Culture Room was hosting a concert. Overall, the Upper-Deck Lounge was fantastic! Two bartenders (Lauren was on point the entire night) provided excellent service and the atmosphere for my wife and I was outstanding (we did not order any food). TouchTunes was rockin' at full volume - unlike the country-sounding bad karaoke downstairs on a Thursday night. Indoors was nice and cool on a warm and humid night and there was also the availability to step outside on the overhanging deck. It was a very nice experience and we will go back again in...
