Hudson Lights Parking Garage — Local services in Fort Lee

I parked here to have dinner and attend a movie at iPic. I went to pay for my ticket within the 4 hour time limit. I wasn’t sure where to validate my ticket at iPic, but figured $5 was worth it for easy parking, so I didn’t think twice about it. Unfortunately, the ticket machine across from iPic wasn’t accepting credit cards (which it didn’t show until I put the ticket in) so I walked around to the next machine near CVS. In the time it took to figure out there was another machine and find it, I apparently exceeded the 4 hour time limit (although I didn’t realize it at that point.) I called for help, and the attendant said to go to the exit and he’d fix it for me. When I got there, he said I’d exceeded the time limit and I either had to go back to ipic (even though I was already at the exit) or pay the extra $10. So because their machine was faulty, I had to be charged 3x the amount I would’ve been charged a few minutes earlier... which he didn’t mention at all when we originally called, and could’ve easily walked back to iPic. It was absolutely ridiculous. If you park here, make sure you have cash, because apparently their machines don’t always accept cards and they have no problem charging you for the extra time you spend figuring...

You won’t feel welcomed or served in this garage. I was a customer of a store which could validate the ticket for a few hours free parking. I accidentally lost my ticket but I was able to get the ticket # from the store in their system. The I went back to the garage and hope front-desk people could verify the lost ticket. However they didn’t even check my ticket number even I explained everything to them and said I need to pay full price. They asked me to wait there for 5mins and suddenly asked me to drive my car to the exit and pressed help button. At the exit she still charged me for a random $5 without any explanation. $5 is not much compared to people who got charged for full price ($36) which is ridiculous. This is 2023. Even the street parking is in mobile. I couldn’t image this size of a garage is still providing this poor service, counting on a paper ticket and not...

normally i park at laquadia airport or the any of the lots near there but because of the easter holiday everything was booked months in advance i called this garage and they said bring it plenty of parking and car would be safe it was in a very nice area the guy in the booth was very friendly and helpful and it was 20 dollars a night i kepted my car there a week ubered to airport i came back no problems great experience the other lots are almost 40...
