I went with my mom and she loved the technician who did her nails! Her nails came out great and the tech did such a phenomenal job at shaping and painting her nails. The technician helped her pick out colors that would suit her skin type the best and helped her adjust her inspo picture. But just know that not all the techs are similar in skill level. The person who did mine was clearly not as experienced. I did a soak off where she went a little too deep onto my nail bed when filing for a nail. She did repair a broken nail, but it was for a different finger. For the nail she did repair, she actually broke more of it off when she was filing it down. For the colors, they were not even coats on each of the nails. One of the other technicians stepped in when it was taking too long to finish my nails and it is clear which hand she painted versus the hand my tech did. Looking at my nails, I think she needed to go in for a second coat because the nail that someone else fixed for me is all painted, while the ones she did is a lighter color and a little translucent toward the cuticle. I asked if she was comfortable doing the design I showed because otherwise I’d get a solid color, but she said she was. But as you can see I asked for flowers, but they don’t look like them and the ones that were supposed to be brown are not noticeable and look like something’s on my finger from far away. I also had to ask her to build out the French tip because they were lopsided. And considering the price I paid for my set, I was just expecting more. I'm posting this because I saw pictures and went in thinking that all the technicians would be of similar skill. Just be aware that if you do not choose a specific tech, that you might have someone who does not do the same level of color and design.

Bad experience from start to finish. There was no greeting upon entry and I was immediately rushed to the seat with annoyed impatience by my technician Miki Li. She did not follow multiple requests to shape my nail square with rounded edges and just kept telling me round, while oddly giggling at my request. I had to ask her for corrections on multiple nails to address the mismatched shapes. When she brought over the colors to choose, I went through three color selections before she found one that still had polish in it. Very unimpressive. The location is also very messy for using efile method, which can get easily get infections when not sterile. The efile was not thorough and left dry skin all around my nails along with nail color is not painted to the edges of the nail as I’m used to (reference pics taken at home as soon as I got back from the mani). After all that, I was charged additional amount to remove my prior manicure that is not listed anywhere on the pricing list, so seems scammy and they were unapologetic about it. Overall mani cost $72 and was not worth it IMO. Will not be going back. Giving it 2 stars instead of 1 star only because the polish remains in tact 3 weeks later.

Although the price point was a bit steep (more than I'm uses to), it is worth every penny. My stylist was amazing. She was patient with me and very meticulous in her handiwork. She ensured each individual nail was equally shaped & perfect. She helped w/ my styling to help me try to stay within budget (although it was still a bit more than I was anticipating). I will still return because I was impressed by the cleanliness of the salon, the time & efforts my stylist took with me, and used all the appropriate tools needed to shape my nails perfectly. My manicure has never looked this perfect before. I'm hoping this will hold as strong as my previous UV Gel nails. I was told by the stylist that Japanese Gel manicures can last 3-4 weeks (I'll update this review after my 3wks to see how it holds - I work in Healthcare & have to constantly sanitize & wash my hands). All in all, I think I'll become a loyal customer here, just have to be mindful w/ the add'l costs w/ any design & special effects.

I always try to give an honest review of nail places, especially when they are more pricey. This is definitely a pricier salon and you will get good customer service - they are good nail techs and they can do fun designs. However, I did not have the greatest experience for a gel manicure and pedicure. At $130 total, I had to revisit the salon to have my gel manicure retouched. The gel was bubbling and peeling and my nails were tender and had an itchiness feeling. I figured it had not cured properly and gave them a chance to redo the nails, and get a pedicure too. During my pedicure, the gel nail bottle was dropped into the foot bath and was still used on my toes. I was told it wouldn't affect the polish (even though water would technically dilute the polish) and they continued the pedicure. The same color was used to retouch the manicure. I was not going to leave a bad review even though I had a less than good experience, however, when I went home that day, my nails started burning and itching. The nail on my ring finger is lifting from the nail bed and my first finger is lifting as well, probably from spending too much time under the UV lamp to cure the gel or the chemicals in the gel itself. There is nothing that can be done for a lifting nail (onycholysis) and I am not going to say the nail salon directly caused this... but I have never experienced this after years of getting my nails done. I'm giving feedback because it's not sanitary for the color 601 to be used on the...
