I was attracted by the reviews and instagrams work so drove 1hr to book a meet with Sebastian. The meet went well and the shop looks clean, Sebastian did a quick design on pad with me in 20min (picking patterns of wings, cross, and letters), it overall looks good as draft and I asked if can make the wings more vivid and real, less cartoon, and shared an sample picture. He looked confident and said he will finish the design in couple days and send back to discuss and review, it’s $600 and I paid $100 deposit and booked a date in one month. From then I received 0 message from Sebastian, and 2w before the appt. I asked if any design available, it took him 1w to reply saying he will be ready in 2days before appt. I said okay and wait till appt. day there is no msg. He said I need to come to shop and can finish the design together in 30m, and also said this is how tattoo artist works. I was very upset and have to cancel it off. Sebastian might be indeed a talented artist that’s the reason I still give 3 stars, but I think the shop should teach or manage the proper clients interaction. My impression is Sebastian might be confident and think it’s an easy one and don’t even want to take a look to improve the design a bit and want to directly do the tattoo after one month 0 communication for a new client. He might have the skill but that won’t work, and is actually bad experience. I am not even asking for anything difficult nor push back forth, but just want to communicate properly on the design, 0 communication is simply non-acceptable for a new client.

Re. Couple things to clarify I didn’t change the score but my wife did. She asked me take back the deposit but I told her Sebastian at least did the initial design that we should respect the work, she was upset and changed it. I can change back if you ever want to improve the communication a bit but now I want to keep one 2 stars I had 2 small tattoos on heels, and I know there are plenty adjustments and plotting on the actual DATE 3.I didn’t ask Sebastian to COMPETE with others, I waited till last minutes for Sebastian to text me if he ever remember what I asked for in the initial meet, and then disappointed and started looking for other shops, then Sebastian wants to COMPETE and offer a call to discuss design

I’d vote for 4-5 stars by reviewing his work as artist, but there is some basic stuff like you can do better when running a business. If you determined to do all the rest design on the appt. DATE you should tell me, and I will probably schedule another meet to discuss the changes I asked. What I am really upset is I showed my trust and confirmed couple time if Sebastian can make the wings a bit more vivid and he promised to finish up in couple days and show me the new pattern, he said he was busy so I trusted him and left this to him, but it turned out he didn’t even remember what we discussed. Something basic he can do is to schedule a 5m call to clarify something or simply reply the message saying he is working on it. It won’t take more than 10m but I received nothing till final date. I had a sleeve design in mind for years and had been waiting for the right time to get it. Understanding that, I took my time to find an artist, researching for 3 months on the internet while looking through every tattoo convention website to look through hundreds of artists' Instagram. I finally came across Eduardo's profile and knew he was the one for me. Eduardo and his wife Anabel were super responsive on Instagram and answered all of my questions, as there are many concerns with getting your first tattoo. When I finally showed up at the shop, the first thing I noticed was how clean and welcoming the place was. When I met Eduardo, he was extremely nice and presentable. We immediately discussed the design, and I pitched him my ideas, and then he returned with the full design in 45-60 minutes. I loved everything about it, and so we went straight to it in the chair. Again, first tattoo, I had concerns along the way, but Eduardo was reassuring the whole time and I trusted him to work his magic. The final results were simply mind-blowing. I even asked if he ever gets surprised by his work haha. I'll be coming back in the next few months to finish it, but whether you have many tattoos, or it is your first, you have no worries about putting your skin and money in Eduardo's hands to ensure you have the ink you want and love. The last thing, and probably the most important aspect speaks to Eduardo as a person, not an artist. I live in DC so had to drive up to NJ. On my second day, he ran over my allotted time to ensure my sleeve was complete as he knew I didn't live in the area, and it wasn't easy for me to come back. I paid by card Can lookup my statements from the bank, i want it to reserve my comment on the place but now that you said its fake. I paid 1700 for just one section can’t show my tattoo now because the artist think he was Picasso and unfortunately I thought he was good doing this type of art guess what? The guy was improvising!. I think i should get refunded for what i got on this place. After he did the tattoo he realized he put the shadow on my tatto after and over the tattoo making now my tatto looks like it was made in prison. Before you tell people here it was fake you pass the whole day yesterday calling and didn’t answer. You know why i didn’t answer? Because this people overcharge thats one thing and second play with others time. They said they were going to fixed next day and guess what? After month the guy didn’t care to call. So now i lookup for another tattoo place with more experience and more professional to fix the messed up that they did to my arm.
