We purchased two couches, one of them has two sections that recline and have head rests, movable up and down. I like the couch a lot BUT so extremely disappointed in the level of un-importance i seem to be worth to them, now that the sale is finished.
One of the headrests does not work properly. The furniture was delivered end of the day on Friday the 17th (great delivery guys). I live out of town, and came into the Ft. Myers store where we purchased the following Wednesday, the 22nd to let the store know about the problem. I brought photos. I was told I'd need to call for service myself to set something up. OK, no show of apparent caring from the store folks that my new furniture was not working correctly. I called their service # right then from my cellphone, and was told it would take 3-5 days for anyone to call me back. Once they called, then I would be able set something up. I told the girl on the phone i was surprised and disappointed I'd have to wait up to a week to speak with someone about a brand new delivery and only then be able to set a time to come out. She explained that’s the way it was. It's an outside company. well, i really don't care who it is, i just know as a customer I rec'd something that doesn't work properly. Personally, I think it would be nice for them to make an effort to help a customer be excited about their new furniture purchase, even a customer service phone call would be nice. Now we only feel the sale is made, need to hope they get around to sending someone out to make it right in a reasonable time frame.
Today is the 30th. I just got the call. As I was complaining I have been waiting over a week, I was informed they never rec’d the request until the 28th. Really? Now I get to wait another full week for that service to come out, which by the way I can not get any better than a 4hr window of time.
The sad thing is it will probably take no more than 10 minutes of someone’s time to make a slight adjustment to the risers. Maybe one their delivery folks could've stopped by? I don’t know, maybe $6000 is too small of a sale to have much importance as a new customer to the the Florida Leather Gallery? It’s quite disappointing to be excited about your purchase only to be let down by their after sale...

Set up delivery for August 16th and received a confirmation 1 week before from delivery/warehouse. Delivery day comes and I heard nothing but crickets until I decided to call warehouse at 3pm to find out about my delivery. "Not scheduled today, New System and saleman screwed up." I called salesman Jiim. "Warehouse screwed up. New System. Let me see what I can do and call you back." I call warehouse while waiting and demand my delivery happen as we are sitting on lawn chairs. They keep saying no. I had to ask if drivers are still out and can they be paid overtime to get my furniture as promised. "We'll call you back." Salesman Jim calls and says it will be 4 days later but might be able to get a private mover to get me my furniture next day. I told him thats worse case scenerio. Finally get a call back after 4pm and I'm told they will get the furniture on the truck and bring to me by 5pm. Jim promises me a refund of delivery fee for my troubles. Delivery drivers confirm that all week deliveries have been messed up. I then call twice a week for 3 weeks looking for that refund promised on August 16th. Only after filing a BBB complaint, I get my refund on Sept 7th. I asked for a better resolution then just a delivery refund and was told by Customer Service that "You got your furniture didn't you? You got your delivery fee refund. We are a business and need to make money." A+ Customer service. LOL! Big Lots has better Customer Service. Buyer Beware! Its not the quality you think. Zero follow up after delivery. Once they have your money, good luck. My inlaws bought from Haverty as same time. They had a Beautiful experience. Luckily, we love our floor model sectional or I would have told them to back the truck up and take it away so I could give my business to someone else that...
Read moreI wouldn’t even give them 1 star . Stay away from this place !!! I received a quote for a 3 piece leather set. The Woman was very nice and friendly but ended up getting sick and landed in the hospital. I returned the next and they told me I was not able to take any leather swatch samples home because they don’t allow it . I was told by the lady I could and they told me no swatch samples leave the store. I offered to put a deposit on them and said I will return them in an hour. They told me NO!!! Then The manager told me There is no way I could purchase the leather set for the price I was quoted. He said you can pick out another set instead. I had the quote in writing and he wouldn’t honor it and became rude . I will never ever step foot in that store again. I went and purchased a beautiful leather set at Matter Brothers and I couldn’t be happier. They have an awesome staff!!
Wow!! No sir I didn’t go to the wrong store And yes sir your sales person did go to the Hospital she called me from her cell phone she was admitted. As a matter of fact sir , your response to me was “ She must have been sick to quote you that price” . How nice of you to make a degrading comment about your sale staff. And by the way No sir you would not let me take a sample of your swatch home like I said , not even for 1 hour !!!! I offered to leave a deposit for it and your comment was No samples leave the showroom. How ridicules is that people need to bring them home to review under their lighting and decor in order to make the best decision.
I hope you changed your policy since then. Shame to treat a customer the way I was treated.
