Brooks Community Park — Attraction in Florida

Ohhhhhh hoh hoh Hoooo, Y'all gone luv dis spot!! So ,i'm out doin my normal thing (trynna stay to myself and vibe at the same time😁) and the thought crosses me "Eh, i've not been to the park inna minute!", so i Stopped at the CK (Circle K) just above it and decide to chill for the rest of the day. Welp, that did Not happen😏. As i reached i was enthralled by the amount of people that had started to frequent the spot since i wasn't there. Boiiiii!!! I was surprised by the turnout, but not 30min laters belief was challenge by an hrs. wait to see that hidden talent tends to show up at this location. An to my shock for Nothing but Good Wholesome fun and Game play😳😁😁. There's even this Lil'Champ that comes over to play with the Grown Ups , and Boi is he a Source of entertainment😂😂His Energy is Awesome!!😁😁. Everyone is respectable to one another and give off the vibe that that's expected amongst one another😁.

Brooks Park has 6 pickleball courts which ger fairly heavy use from 9 till 12 M-F. The courts themselves are fairly new and in good shape. The rest of the infrastructure is severely lacking though. Bathrooms are some distance away, and according to others, disgusting (so I've never used them myself). Parking lot is not paved and is in poor shape, a lot of people park along the road because of this and also it is closer to the courts. I asked a Park District employee I saw there one day if there was a possibility of getting some porta-potties brought in, all I got was a blank look and the statement "We just fixed the lights," Not too helpful. Also on the rare occasions it rains, there are no squeegees or rollers to remove water from the court. Nor are their any brooms to sweep sand or dirt from the courts, which gets tracked into the courts regularly. I do appreciate the courts themselves, and wish that Cape Coral had a similar facility, but there is definitely room for...

Small parking, not quiet and just outside of neighborhood that's not greatest and yet still good. I'm sure there are some nice residents. People can play tennis and soccer. City needs to renovate a bit since next to shopping and Page Field. Place looks slightly rundown; can tell people there doing best with what they have. No playground that I could...
