Happy Sun Ice Cream Fort Myers — Restaurant in Florida

We went in at 7:30pm on Saturday 23rd. The only helper there opened the door and she was starting to taking in the outdoor chair and umbrella. Gave us a dirty look and proceed to tell us that we had to wait a little while she put in the items - which obviously! Not very welcoming and made it seem like we were a bother within a hour in half before closing. I don’t what has changed in the last couple months but service has been so horrible. I even caught a friend leaving couple weeks ago who had two little girls and she even said be careful on not touching the glass - the girl was very rude inside so they decide to take the ice cream home instead. Let’s work on customer service before going into how they server the ice cream cups half empty. Much rather support Coyas that’s down...

It was hot, so I found my car steering towards salvation in the form of an ice cream shop. I walked in an had a difficult time order as the yound lady didn't speak English well. I finally ordered a scoop of vanilla ice cream with sprinkles in a cone. We got to the register and she's says what I thought was $10, so I said I'm sorry, I didn't understand you, I thought you said $10? And she shakes her head yes. Now I am looking at the ice cream I have, of course, already taken a bite of thinking no way, TEN DOLLARS FOR ONE SCOOP OF ICE CREAM ???? I had no choice at that point but to pay for it, but never again.

This place has so many fruity options, so there’s something for everyone from cold treats, beverages, and snacks. The ice cream and paletas come in unique flavors such as tamarind and soursop. We tried different ice cream flavors. They have water based paletas if you don’t consume dairy. The girl who helped us was nice and attentive. :) The ice cream portion is on the smaller side but it’s good for the price. The only downside is that it’s overly sweet and the ice cream was not creamy compared to other places, it’s a bit on the watery side.
