STAY AWAY FROM ROOMS TO GO PATIO...THEY ARE A NIGHTMARE!! So I ordered a complete patio set back in January 2021. I paid over $7,000 and received most of my order on the promised delivery date. However I was missing all but 2 of the cushions needed to actually sit comfortably on our furniture. The cushions as I found out later were on backorder at the time of purchase. I received a phone call after my payment cleared of course to advise me of this. I received another call in the beginning of March stating the cushions were in so we set up a delivery date. The night before delivery customer service calls to tell me they didn't realize they no longer have the cushions in stock but they'd be back in stock in 2 weeks. Two weeks goes by and another phone call from customer service 24 hrs before delivery telling me that the cushions are not available but assured me that they would be in absolutely no later than April 14....yes 4 months after my original order. April 13th 1:00 pm, here we go again, customer service calling to tell you the cushions are delayed because of some type of "transit" issue. I call the store where I purchased the set and they advise me to call customer service. I sit on hold for well over an hour with customer service to tell me to reach out to my salesperson. This is an absolutely deplorable way of conducting business and is either a clear indication of ineptitude or they simply do not care about the customer once they have their money. As I write this I was on hold with customer service for over an hour, when I got through and explained my situation they HUNG UP ON ME! I sat in the pictured above swivel chair told him I wanted this table and these four swivel chairs he give me the option of three different chairs I told him I wanted the swivels with the cushions. Upon check out he had for normal chairs in my car I could see it on his computer so I verified with him at that time that he got 4 swivel chairs he said yes he had it taken care of. Delivery day comes and I have the wrong chairs he nor the store will make it right and want to charge me over $600 for the correct chairs when he told me all three options are the same price. CLASSIC BAIT AND SWITCH. Store manager offered $50 off and wouldnât make it right. We specifically wanted the swivel chairs because of the tight space the table and chairs is going into now we are stuck with chairs we donât like when we were sold on swivel chairs we were sitting it. At one of the other stores we walked through the whole store passing by several sales staff and not a single one asked if we needed help. So we were not expecting much help when we went to Rooms To Go. What a pleasant surprise when we walked in the door and Rebecca smiled and asked how she could help us. We briefly explained what we were looking for and she showed us several items explaining how the groupings worked and different options available. She was informative, pleasant, courteous and patiently answered all our questions. She provided excellent customer service that will not be forgotten. Whenever we we need home furnishings in the future, we will go directly to Rooms To Go and ask for Rebecca.
