My husband and I lost our condo on Fort Myers Beach to hurricane Ian September 28, 2022. In October 2023 we started shopping for all of our furnishings to replace what we lost which was everything all the way down to a teaspoon! In working with Cindy at Leaders, Fort Myers Beach, she was one of the most courteous, sweet, and friendliest sales person I’ve had the pleasure of working with. She was very interested in what had happened to us on the beach and was extremely sympathetic. She assured me that when ordering from Leaders they would hold my order until I was ready to have a delivery. We really thought we would’ve been in by January 2024, but that did not happen. We live in Ohio and are snowbirds for eight months on the beach, and so this has been a very difficult transition not only for us, but everyone on the beach. I am so happy that the owners understood exactly what everyone was going through; and with that, I am so grateful for allowing my furnishings to be held in your warehouse which I’m quite certain probably took up space, and your warehouse personnel probably could not wait to get our stuff out of there! We had originally purchased new cushions for chairs we had bought several years before, but due to all of the mold on our patio furniture, we had to throw it away, and therefore, the cushions were no longer useful as they no longer sold the chairs that I had. They had no problem issuing me a credit to go towards anything else I purchased with them. I will always recommend Leaders for any patio furniture that you may need, and rest assured that you will be dealing with a quality company that truly does care about their customers. I am totally excited to see all of my new patio furniture and barstools that will finally be delivered on September 24! June McKown — 5 starLeaders in Ft. Myers was easiest purchase I have made in a long time. Two years ago I was visiting a friend in Estero in a rented unit. There was a chair in that place that was so comfortable and peaceful that now, two years later, I tracked it down at Leaders! I had bought a small condo that looks out on nature and this was the only piece of furniture I wanted. Unbelievably, when I walked in, Olga Freeman, my sales person took me right to the very chair! This chair is nice and big and swivels 360 degrees, glides and reclines. So first thing in the morning I look out at nature and do my spiritual exercises, then put my laptop on my lap and do my paperwork. This chair is soothing. When there was an unusual glitch mechanically in the delivery truck, both the main office and Olga called me to make sure it would be delivered in the next two days. Things started off well but have gone downhill since placing our order. We were notified of the delivery of our new table and chairs, paid over $3k balance due that day. On the day of the delivery they came out to deliver the furniture as scheduled but asked me to come out to the truck to see the table. The delivery person then pointed out two very obvious flaws in the surface and asked it I wanted to accept it! I said absolutely not and why wasn't this caught at their facility before coming out? I spent $7k and expect my furniture to arrive in quality condition. Now I have 4 chairs here and no table. I keep calling to find out when the new table will be delivered but no one calls me back. Very disappointment in the level of customer service provided here.
