EDIT: I changed my rating to 2 stars per your request because I would’ve came back if this incident was handled differently. We even discussed coming back and just ordering can drinks only. That’s not happening anymore, but I enjoyed singing there. It’s just that the experience after my performance was discouraging.

I’ll decline the bottle of wine.

I’m the one who received the Sangria with the ROACH in it that Angela spoke of in the last review. I am quite aware of what a roach looks like especially when I almost drank it thinking it was a big piece of pulp. IT TOUCHED MY MOUTH AND I PUSHED IT BACK INTO THE GLASS WITH MY TOP LIP! You personally gave Angela the club soda when she asked your male employee with shoulder length hair for “water or something” to wash my mouth out. He specifically said he had no water and Angela asked for Club soda or anything you had to wash my mouth out.

No one apologized! You walked away from the bar looking directly at me and you did not come over to say thing.

Your employee looked directly at the roach inside of the glass and his face even showed the disgust!

Then when I was leaving, he tried to charge me for the club soda! There was no offer for another glass of wine and I wouldn’t have taken it anyway even if it was offered.

I didn’t make a fuss! I ran outside to wash my mouth out with the club soda and I did not make a scene at all. I wanted to scream and throw up but I contained myself.

I’m only responding to this because now you’re not being honest and that’s disappointing.

FYI. I’m allergic to roaches and had to take Benadryl because of this incident.

My partner and I stumbled into here on a whim. We had dinner and proceeded to walk around around 8pm-9pm. For a Friday evening this was a cool place. We listened to a great performer at a reasonable price. For us this was difference as we typically enjoy going to public house or bistro for a more younger crowd (we’re 22-24). We enjoyed the atmosphere it wasn’t a “new” feeling like someone bought all the furniture at ikea but we could appreciate and value the touch of up cycling. It was done in a fun way and cozy way! The only thing we’d recommend is getting Ballyhoo or a Vance joy cover. Those would be a perfect fit with the ambiance. Also could draw a “young” crowd in for the 7pm-10pm time. Possibly a “edc or modern hip hop night” would be of interest for us too! Overall We enjoyed the time we spent there. We both had one drink each and enjoy each other company listening to the performer. Unfortunately my GF did not enjoy the wine she selected, that’s a personal choice nothing to do with customer service or cleanliness of the area. We’d recommend going, but check the schedule to find the best music genre for you. We enjoyed the country artist but could see if we went for jazz night we probably wouldn’t have stayed for long due to our low interest in jazz. Lucky we enjoyed the country music. Great addition to fort pierce hopefully it’ll grow with the growing area and cultivate the local artists. Who knows maybe the next top musician will get...

EDIT: IF YOU RECALL, one of us did already have a beverage in hand and offered to purchase another. To which the reply was "No, it's a per person minimum" We understand how buisness' work and the flow of income. We offered a reasonable solution and YOU TURNED DOWN REVUNUE. That is why we left. And now reading all your review rebuttals just further drive that point home. From one manager to another: Perhaps taking a moment to truly review criticism and addressing customer complaints would lead to more favorable experiences and reviews. Good luck in your buisness venture and Happy Easter. Initally we were drawn in by the live reggae band (Injoy) Which was fantastic. The atmosphere is very arty, showcasing art from local artists. The complaint is transparency. There was no signage to say they charge a $7 cover fee (that alleged goes straight to performer) Okay. We can understand that. But as we're 30 minutes into enjoying the music, we're told there's a $6 minimum, per person, purchase required. Which again, there is nothing disclosing that. Not on entry, not on the door, not on the website and not on the menu. The venue is cool. We liked that they offered 2 different vibes, as there is also a backroom for other entertainment (a EDM DJ on this particular night) but the lack of transparency was a total turn off and thus we will not be returning...
